One way I suss out racists is when they are telling a story about something and note that his or that person is black when it’s not relevant to the story. Had Auria left out white, there’s no racism. But he couldn’t and there is.

I mean, the damage Auria has suffered because of how and when and where he was raised, it’s obvious to all of us. I genuinely feel bad for him.

But that doesn’t change my belief that racism is bad and should be called out.

 

The fact that 4 different minorities have called you out in the last few hours should encourage you to take a step back and do some self-reflection. It should, but I doubt it will.
