multiple posts incoming JD Vance washes his cast iron skillet. #HeAintFromHere— “That” Nema (@nema) July 22, 2024 goddamn he was three seconds away from a "please clap" https://t.co/Fx3S3sfmTd— Sonny Bunch (@SonnyBunch) July 22, 2024
Yeah, I don't get it. I don't like Mountain Dew because I'm not a hummingbird not because I think it's racist.
I had to look it up as I didn't remember either but, knowing how Republicans are, I figured there was more to the story. Sure enough there was. These people are so inept that even their protestations of innocence simply add more fuel to the fire of their assumed racism. Had he not mentioned it at all, I'm guessing very few, if not none of us would have made the association.
This. Jarritos Lime FTW! Actually, tho I prefer Jarritos to MD or SD, I don't know if it's any less sweet. That's pretty bad. I wonder who came up with it- the stupid-ass Black guys who featured, or some White ad men?
God wanted Donald Trump to live so he can lose to a black woman.— 💀DeathMetalViking💀 (@DeathMetalV) July 21, 2024
That could really be the thing that leads to his death. I might need to stock up on popcorn and champagne.
Since Vance is all about being a macho, tough guy (as macho as you can be if you have sex with furniture), what kind of man boasts about drinking diet soda to try and impress people?
Trump raised $53M (so they say) in 24 hours after his guilty verdict. That was a thing—that they bragged about. I'm with Her.#47, #46, & #44. 🤗 😍 pic.twitter.com/V41sXNZDQY— — • 𝗖 𝗛 𝗘 𝗘 𝗞 𝗬 • — (@andreagail_k) July 23, 2024
So when Trump wrote that check to re-elect Kamala Harris in 2011, I bet he didn’t think she’d cash it in 2024! 😜 pic.twitter.com/78mR1LZyNN— Michael Steele (@MichaelSteele) July 21, 2024
Ah yes, Tyler, the Creator (That's how his name reads out). He directed one of those ads under a pseudonym. Interesting rapper who has some touchy lyrics at times. But then he releases gems like See You Again.
I knew about the ads ages ago, but that was because I also know who the actor, Tyler, The Creator is. I also know he was one of the directors. I remember these getting controversy because Tyler has always been controversial in his music. I don't think JD Vance would have listened to Tyler, but he might have been aware of him.
I hear they have reduced their champagne output. I think Prosecco is taking over for shitty champagne.
I don't know anything about him, but if he makes a point of directing shit like that, I'm quite sure he IS controversial. Plenty of Black people know only other Black people who are like that. 400 years of miseducation is a mofo. If he'd grown up in MY largely Black neighborhood and gone to MY largely Black HS, he'd have met tons of Black kids living quite happily outside the white-created fence enclosing what THEY think it means to be Black. It's extra bad when people who can influence deliberately fall into the same patterns. Another Tyler (Perry) is extremely guilty of that shit.
What a strange signature he has, especially the Trump part. It looks like he started making loops and just couldn’t stop.
JD Vance is one unscripted line away from his "macacca" moment. He comes across as one of those guys who thinks he's so clever that nobody will realize what he's really saying.
I don't think his "joke" has anything to do with the a nine year old ad. Rather he is trying to imply lefty's throw around the racist tag so often that drinking mountain dew two days in a row would get him accused of being racist.
