Here's why Trump's removal of Russian oil sanctions last night is the single greatest of all Trump's gifts to Putin. The record high of unsellable Russian oil sitting in tankers all across the world's oceans will now be turned into immediate cash for Putin's war machine.India… pic.twitter.com/BNuKUOicOt— Jay in Kyiv (@JayinKyiv) March 6, 2026

Trump is a buffoonish carnival barker who has no business being president. And yet, he is somehow a more serious figure than Biden, Harris, or Walz.— Dan McLaughlin (@baseballcrank) March 5, 2026

Just think: There are some Americans who think we should be neutral between the country trying to help the Iranians kill our people and the country that’s selling us interceptor drones to protect our forces. This is a form of refusing to take your own side in a fight. pic.twitter.com/sJzcBGfmpj— Jim Geraghty (@jimgeraghty) March 6, 2026

Pew did a survey of 25 nations. The question was, is your nation’s citizenry morally good. America came in last. https://www.pewresearch.org/religio...er&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=fedica-Main
Thing is, that's an almost meaningless result in times like ours-- 45% will answer "no" because they would rather we weren't the sort of nation that would attack Iran, and 45% because they would rather we were-- and so 90% say we're actually not, when something like 55% think we are. So the Venn diagram is much worse than the reality.
The US has been short on munitions for some time. I'd file this in the "interesting if true" category. Part of the munitions problem is we sold a lot of these top-tier weapons to partners who have paid for them -- and then had to go back and ask them to get out of line so we could send more to Ukraine, not to mention we needed to replenish our own supply. This is a much bigger deal than is being reported. China and Russia are more than happy to watch us shoot everything we have.
I need to step in here and offer a very reluctant defense of M-Dub. His name doesn't prove he's stupid. He didn't name himself. However, it's a very strong indicator that his parents were stupid and it is further assumed that this stupidity is hereditary.
As is pointed out in every critique of “Christian” nationalism I’ve read this year, there’s a reason why they always want to post the Ten Commandments. It will never cross their mind to post the Sermon on the Mount.
To follow up . . . In the Republican version of the Prodigal Son story, the father punches him in the face and sends him on his way.
So, they surrendered or are we still bombing them? Or both? I am 48 years old and infuriated the rest of my life will feel the influence of this raging moron's time in the Oval Office.
Everyone in the world is short on munitions because no one knows the staggeringly humongous number of munitions you need for a real war. Russia went into Ukraine with a World War III level of munitions and they still ran out.

To be fair, I would hope the orange idiot would learn how to speak English properly before he tried learning Spanish.
