Furman’s campus is lovely. Unless things have changed, Charleston is great, and Greenville is nice, but the rest of the state is a complete shithole. When I visited Columbia ca. 1990 a couple of times for research, it felt like those Eastern NC cities that relied on the tobacco business, and faded to dusty nothingness when tobacco went away. And that was the state capital, home of the state’s “flagship” college!

The only valid realids for this purpose (proof of citizenship for voting) are the enhanced ones that are equivalent to a passport card that you can only get in a few northern border states. Those ones have a flag icon, not a gold star.

You can get a regular realid without being s citizen., it is not proof of citizenship.
