This was a huge thing in right wing circles. Still is.

Not being in those circles, I didn't hear a thing about it when it happened.

A case study in very different media environments.

 

I heard about it, but frankly didn't pay much attention since it seemed like just another tragedy MAGA was trying to exploit. Another Willie Horton for them.

I didn't realize the photo posted was from that incident. I just assumed a picture of a black guy on public transit standing over a young white woman was enough to trigger scumbags like Sorbo.

 

This was a big deal approximately 2 months ago. The right-wing uncle on FB and X posted about this incident quite a bit until the shinier, newer, Charlie Kirk incident happened.

Now they care about 1 - Ukrainians 2- refugees.

I'm not on FB or X, so I have probably avoided being exposed to a lot of this. On the other hand, those who are on FB and X are probably exposed to all of it and then some.

 

I'm on neither, but I do review the news everyday, so I was ell aware of it ATT...

Of course it took just seconds to find a typical "nobody in the MSM covered this post" which severely people immediately called out as a lie.

MAGA is really that dumb.

 

We know the hierarchy of MAGA hate better because of it.

Black man murders white woman rates as much more important than American murders immigrant. They haven't seemed to be at all interested in that latter aspect of the murder.

 

Maybe.

An alternative perspective: MAGA operates on hate not love, so they’re wired to hate their enemies rather than love their allies. Their palette of emotions doesn’t include any that allow for empathy for victims. So MAGA defaults to hating the criminal. It’s all they’re capable of.

It’s probably both.

 

He is saying that under Leftist politicians crime and violence towards law abiding citizens would be rampant. He is saying that words don't end people and attitudes like that are based in fact, because based off of this stabbing all black people have the potential to do more things like this if there were more Democrats in charge.
