With Reagan and Bush 1, we argued about policy. Starting with Gingrich, we’ve increasingly been arguing about what is real. And some time in the Trump Era, America crossed some line and now 90% of our arguments about the federal government are about reality and not policies.
Fair point. Rumsfeld’s dismissal of the “Reality based community” was a hallmark of Bush II. And it’s 24-7-365 with Trump.
Incredibly proud of my husband @StephenM. Four years of hardwork, dedication and loyalty. And for his dedication to contribute to creating the most successful DAY 1 in HISTORY 🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/Wr7PqZhVvc— Katie Miller (@KatieMiller) January 21, 2025 Oh look -- she is so proud of her husband. That's why she's off getting cornholed by Elon at his compound in Texas. She's like Nancy Mace's long lost twin sister.
B.A. University of Florida 2014 She is not helping the reputation of that institution of higher education.
Wasn't Trump and the MAGAverse giving out nutshots to John McCain before, during, and after his cancer treatments and after he passed?
If I may paraphrase, with fascists, the hypocrisy is the point. Fascists either want to be ubermenschen, or they want to be ruled by worthy ubermenschen. And superior beings like ubermenschen aren’t bound by the need to be intellectually consistent. The constant lying and the weathervane political values are demonstrations of their greatness.
Hence the assassination of a Minnesota Democratic and her husband by a Trump supporter is met with a round of universal silence on the right. The killing of a right wing internet celebrity results in calls to arms and in flags flying at half staff. incidentally, it’s worth remembering that, according to standard flag protocol, they should have still been at half mast on Inauguration Day in memory of Jimmy Carter. Trump didn’t like that, so his whims were, as always, catered to.
I think Thomas played basketball at Syracuse “There is no where in the Bible where we are taught to honor evil and how you die does not redeem how you lived. You don’t become a hero in death when you are a weapon of the enemy in life” ~Pastor Howard John-Wesley of Alfred Street Baptist Church In DC #CharlieKirk pic.twitter.com/PLH0YnRJNJ— Etan Thomas (@etanthomas36) September 14, 2025

Every accusation is…. In recent days we have learned just how many Americans in positions of authority—child services, law clerks, hospital nurses, teachers, gov’t workers, even DOD employees—have been deeply and violently radicalized. The consequence of a vast, organized ecosystem of indoctrination.— Stephen Miller (@StephenM) September 13, 2025

The greatest irony of these ramblings is these people went to places like Harvard, Yale, and Duke. Or in some cases, Ohio State. They couldn't get invited to a party at Michigan State they're that detestable.
I mean, Trump brags about going to Penn. To reiterate a point I made elsewhere, fascists revel in the hypocrisy because they revel in being above the laws, both moral and legislative. What’s the point of fascism if its leaders can’t act with impunity? It’s literally the appeal of fascism.
Daddy got him in there. Jared's dad got him into Harvard by donating a few mill or some crap. To sorta quote John Housesman - they did it the old-fashioned way...they didn't earn it.
I couldn’t get a screenshot of the reply, but it was about men looking for this and spending hours wandering around in fruitless, pathetic attempts to find it.
Someone wrote "Stephen Miller got into politics because his arms were too weak to strangle prostitutes"
Does this seem likely? Plausible? Kash Patel says Charlie Kirk shooting suspect had written a note about the attack that has since been destroyed, but the FBI has “confirmed” what the note said “because of our aggressive interview posture” pic.twitter.com/bq8DppBuTc— Roger Sollenberger (@SollenbergerRC) September 15, 2025
The ghost of J. Edgar Hoover in Hell is saying, "dude. Tone it down. That would be ridiculous even by my low standards."
Trump said drugs killed 300,000,000 people last year, and it’s perfectly normal. https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:iu...ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eschatonblog.com%2F
so he's off by a magnitude of, literally, one hundred. You libz just don't get him. He exaggerates because he cares so much about us. [/MAGA]
