    Some guy named Mel Blanc appeared at my college. It was pretty amazing. And the R-rated versions of Loony Tune characters was hilarious. The speech wasn’t even an hour, but that was fine. It was a good core workout.

    I'm sure. I've seen a lot of clips in which the various actors/voices in The Simpsons run through the gamut of their characters---amazing and hilarious at the same time.

    Along those lines (this just came to me) I'll see your Stephen Root and raise you a Clancy Brown. Talk about a dude who's made quite a living as a character actor/voice guy.

    He appeared @ UNL a year or two before I showed up. A friend of mine (didn't know him then, we became friends later after I showed up) wrote for the student paper and got to interview him.
