Unfortunate that a lot of people mentioned in this thread don't have the experience Donny had before throwing his shit hat in the ring!
Kennedy, Harding, Obama... You can't be both at once, but you can run as one and resign as the other if you win. Lets not be confusin' the Trump voters even more, heh?

Super duper geniuses!! While the real Trump-Musk Space on X does not appear to be working, there's currently a deepfake livestream of the Trump-Musk interview on a fake Tesla channel on YouTube, with 200,000 people watching.https://t.co/cTzd5PUPmk pic.twitter.com/Fudiy46uZK— Shayan Sardarizadeh (@Shayan86) August 13, 2024
Looks interesting but YouTube deleted the channel. You can only have deepfakes making fun of Harris. That's the only way to be fair to both candidates.
They can't even figure out how to work #Spaces and half y'all still want to hand over the damn country to these goons.— Ryan Wiggins 🏴☠️ (@Ryan_N_Wiggins) August 13, 2024
At some point a year or two ago, I was trying to find a live stream of a SpaceX launch and came across a Youtube page which claimed to be the live stream (*). I turned it on, and it seemed to have footage from a launch (**), and then it showed Elon talking in front of a crowd, and then he started talking about crypto. Before he mentioned crypto, the screen showed Elon talking, but at the point when he started talking about crypto, the screen only showed the audience. So I figured it was fake, but there is a history of scammers using Elon fakes to try to scam people. I'm guessing there's some overlap between the groups of (a) people who think Elon is smart and (b) people who think that crypto is a good idea. (*) I learned that the only site that live streams SpaceX launches is the SpaceX website. They don't stream on Youtube. (**) The footage was from a previous SpaceX launch, some months before the live launch I was trying to watch.
They both manage to sound much stupider than usual when they're talking to each other. Remarkable.— Josh Marshall (@joshtpm) August 13, 2024
Wow, all the planes in the world and Trump picked his old friend Jeffrey Epstein’s… …maybe it was the familiarity?
Yeah, I don't get that vibe from him at all. He's not as charismatic as Bill Clinton or Obama, but he certainly doesn't remind me of the boss in Office Space. He's quite clever and has a sharp, funny, wit.
First thing I thought of-- rip out every bit of fabric and incinerate it and acid bathe the cinders. Just in case Trumps DNA is very stable also...
Once upon a time, that dude was considered a serious person and a "reasonable" republican. As Stuart Stevens put it " It was all a lie". Actually it could have all it "it was all a grift" and it would have been fitting. “In his 17-month stint as UF president, Ben Sasse more than tripled his office’s spending, directing millions in university funds into secretive consulting contracts and high-paying positions for his GOP allies,” The Alligator reports. “Sasse ballooned spending under the president’s office to $17.3 million in his first year in office — up from $5.6 million in former UF President Kent Fuchs’ last year.” “A majority of the spending surge was driven by lucrative contracts with big-name consulting firms and high-salaried, remote positions for Sasse’s former U.S. Senate staff and Republican officials.”
Did anyone listen to the whole interview? Or just clips of the interview? I did not listen to it (I didn't even try).
