You should write one under a pseudonym, while also writing a book to counter it. Publish the first one and take all the money from the suckers, then release the 2nd one under your own name that reveals your authorship, refutes and exposes all the lies. Donate some $$$ to charity.

For people not from the South…Appalachia has been Republican territory since Republicans were formed. I mean, there’s a reason West Virginia, the quintessential Appalachian state, seceded from Virginia during the Civil War. So in the areas of NC impacted by Helene, they were traditionally Republican forever, PLUS, old timey Dixiecrats are all now Republican too.

This is fantastic from a woman I’d literally never heard of a few days ago. It’s the kind of “back to basics”, unsavvy question that the NYT would never in a million years think to ask. It’s a good starting point for talking about the reality of abortion laws, as lived by women. That’s a different thing, a vastly more important thing, than asking insidery tactical based questions.

That's not a rule of English, and I will place a proposition at the end of any sentence I care to.

 

Whenever somebody complains about about a final preposition I just tag a “,asshole” to the end of the sentence. Problem solved!

 

Mission: Accomplished.

 

I just bought a 500ml bottle of olive oil but it wouldn't fit in my cabinet. But I did find a place to stick it into, asshole.

When one ends a sentence with a preposition, there’s a chance the object of the preposition might be unclear. That’s how I apply the rule; just make sure the object is clear.
