Pavlich has over a million followers Ah yes. Sourced to one unspecified person who knows many unspecified persons living in unspecified locations. Rock solid. Definitely meets the standard for publishing such sweeping and empirically contested assertions. The @YaleLawSch class of 2013–@JDVance’s class—has raised $10,000 for the Springfield Unity Fund to help the Ohio city’s Haitian community at a time when it is being victimized by “scapegoating and demagoguery drawn straight from the playbooks of fascism.” Donation link here:…— George Conway (@gtconway3d) October 5, 2024

What if we had a coup and a coverup, and nobody (by which I mean the GOP) cared? In 2024, the real danger isn’t just the crime or the coverup, it’s the acceptance. The nation can survive insurrections and even attempts at obstruction of justice. But can it survive a shrug?— Charlie Sykes (@SykesCharlie) October 5, 2024
It’s just hilarious in the most macabre conceivable way that a major political journalism outlet would highlight Walz’ misspeaking and joy Trump’s. Wait until you guys hear about all the stuff Trump and J.D. Vance say on purpose https://t.co/kvaWT9unJ9— Julia Claire (@ohJuliatweets) October 4, 2024

Did you have Donald Trump signing a $100,000 legal retainer with RFK Jr.'s law firm just a few days after his endorsement on your 2024 bingo card?!?!Well, that just happened. pic.twitter.com/v0S8WrEmH4— Grant Stern (@grantstern) October 4, 2024
I watched the clip. You just need to watch the first minute. Trump surrogate essentially says the Democrats are bad because people in North Carolina are mad at them because they’re believing all of Trump’s lies. It’s worse than “you ********ed up! You trusted us!” in its Catch 22 lunacy. It’s really late in the game now, Stelter’s terrific response (although in this clip, he didn’t really follow up.). Stelter just asked him, why are you lying? Don’t even let the liar litigate the lie. “Why did you say it?” This should have been standard practice 9 years ago when it might have made a difference. Still, better than nothing. Sorry for a discussion in the tweet thread…. Yes, this pushback is important but I don't understand why @CNN puts lying Trump supporters like this guy on in the first place⤵️. This faux 'both sides' nonsense also really undermines CNN's own factual reporting. 1/ https://t.co/E6C0gUOlZK— Jennifer Schulze (@NewsJennifer) October 5, 2024
Here's a thought: don't use the anodyne term "misinformation" when the actual problem is "Republicans telling lies." https://t.co/q93HaT9aDV— David Roberts (@drvolts) October 5, 2024

And as @BillAdairDuke knows, it goes further: Lying to erode the institutions of a democracy, lying to drive people from the public square, lying as an energy source that can power your campaign— which I described on @Maddow as "verification in reverse." https://t.co/HSuqto8ElI https://t.co/VyAcqYZURY— Jay Rosen (@jayrosen_nyu) October 3, 2024

WELP...... Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is “begging” wife Cheryl Hines not to file for divorce in the wake of his alleged “personal relationship” with journalist Olivia Nuzzi, People magazine reports. Said one source: “She’s been talking about filing for divorce, but he’s begging her not to file. But how many times can you forgive a partner that’s dishonest and goes behind your back? It’s just ridiculous behavior from a grown, married man.”
He’s not a grown man, he’s a hyper entitled rich ******** who’s been shielded from consequences by his wealth and his family’s name for his entire life. That will keep him in a stage of perpetual adolescence at best. Much like Trump, obviously.
