She isn’t really a rando. If I remember right, she was “launched” into fame with gamergate, being a prominent woman in game development.

 

I think the rando is the one making the original comment. Look, there are crazies everywhere, but if you go to a Trump rally how many people would be talking like that, and how many at a Biden rally? Those kinds of people, if there are even enough to make a movement, have no power in the Democratic Party. There is no equivalence here, not even in a hypothetical future level.

It's Trump that is emboldening extremists on both sides by making that behavior normalized. It's Putin that is emboldening extremists on both sides by funding both and running bot farms to enhance the crazy talk. Those people thrive in chaos and conflict. The more Democrats win, the less these left-wing crazies will be supported.
