Houston Game Likely to Be Tape Delayed on FSC

For those of you who aren't watching the DC United match on FSC, I wanted to give you a heads up that it looks like they will be delaying coverage of the Dynamo game tonight. I say this because the DC United game was tape delayed, after the game that was on before it (a delay broadcast of an EPL game from earlier today) ran over.

Anyway, the DCU game just started and is only 2 minutes into the match at 30 minutes after the hour. Assuming they cut out the halftime show, that would still have the DCU match running until about 10 minutes or so past the time that Houston is supposed to start.

If you really want to catch the game live, the mlsnet.com site has an audio feed (they are playing the DCU game live now), so you should be able to pick it up there.

Yea, I got scared at 7 when the game wasn't on, I was afraid they'd scrapped their schedule.
From what I read on the DC boards the game before the EPL game went long, but then they showed the entire replay of the next game before the DC game. That was unnecessary I don't think, but I guess that's what you get when you have a network that carried the FFF-I MLS haters .

Re: Houston Game Likely to Be Tape Delayed on FSC

So here's the update on FSC coverage and timing of the match. They only cut out a couple of minutes at halftime - had to show all kinds of commercials :(

So they are still running almost 25 minutes behind, and the DC match coverage won't end until about 9:15 Central. So the Houston coverage will be delayed by 15-20 minutes, assuming they do the same thing they are doing with DCU they'll show it from start to finish, just delayed.

Use this thread for those of you watching on FSC, as it will be about 10-15 minutes behind the live game.

I haven't had much success with "live" (?) feeds over the internet but I do have FSC. I'll stick with the tape delay feed. Hopefully, Houston can show me something better than what I saw with with Gamba match..... or with DC United being outclassed by Harbour View (???).

Dang, why did they have to tape delay just to show us Barclay's Pub league match between Mediocreborough and Asston Villa ? :0)

Any idea why Houston is wearing all white uniforms and not the orange shorts?

I would think that it's because Municipal gets to wear their home colors which includes the blue shorts...........maybe??

But orange (especially just the shorts) doesn't conflict with the red shirt/blue shorts that Municipal is wearing.

That said, the all white doesn't look that bad, but I prefer some colors. Especially with Houston's unique (for MLS) orange color.

I've got to say, in the 26th minute, they called Ching for a foul near the endline, but it didn't look like a foul on him, it shoulda been a handball on the Municipal player.

They need black socks. That would make it acceptable.

I like this game. Municipal is creating some pretty darn good chances and Houston finally got a couple of good shots. Too bad neither looks like Arsenal, Man U et al.

Municipal is very good. Why can't we play Jamaica?

And that one guy keeps diving in the box, he's making me mad.

And why do they keep getting so many corners. Good thing they're not too good at it. Yet. :(

Hey, guys - thanks for posting for those of us without a visual. I'm having to content myself with the (tape delayed?) Rio Preto x Corinthians match on Globo right now...
