relax jeff, i meant bob...but you could've given us a little hint...

anyway...its a great day in metroland.

    better jersey
    better crest
    better coach

bradley will bring in good talent.

bradley will not forget to put people on the roster.

    bradley will make better substitutions

bradley will not go into bunker defense after scoring the first goal in the first 20 minutes.

    its a great day.

  2. I say Bring Jeff back as PR director again and make Scott the goalkeeping coach(he did play catcher for the Yankees) and call ourselves FC Bradley.

My favorite team from the Meadowlands brings in the best coach in the league who just happened to also be a Jersey guy. His wife always wanted to return to NJ. My team pays compensation and he is ours. The team gets new uniforms and a new logo. They also get, by his mere presence, more credibility and respect from the rest of the league. He brings in better players and coaches the team into the playoffs. The teams' long suffering but loyal fans are dreaming of a championship.

That was my NY Jets a few years ago. I hope things work out better for the Metros.

I totally agree, this changed alot of the sour taste in my mouth from last season.

Metro did an excellent job, this time.

Come on - it's Billy Walsh....what would all of NY/NJ done without the "Walsh Cup"? Can't live with him, can't live without him...

    A fellow suffering Metros/Jets fan.

Metros were going to win it all this past season and the Jets looked like Super Bowl contenders in pre-season. So we got hit with a one-two punch. It looks like we have to wait until next season on both counts.

BTW, I watched the Jets/Vikes game and the pitch was still atrocious. I hope they do something before the Browns game and before we lose some players for the season.

If the Metros have six guys out with injuries and need a versatile player to plug holes next year, and Walsh is available, I'd sign and start him in a heartbeat.

Bradley gave up nothing to get Walsh. Walsh was about #17 on his "non-injured" depth chart, so don't start thinking he sees Walsh as a superstar.

Bradley is a winner. He is very good with young talent. He will even give us an inside game. If we can't win it all next year then definately the year after. It takes time to build a good game.

The team will be fun to watch.
