I admit, I'm pretty uninformed when it comes to this issue, but after watching the UN security council today, this is my reaction:

I'd like to compare the UN to the parents of a kid(Iraq) that is constantly misbehaving, but all the parents do is say "You better not do that. You're going to get it if you do it again. This is the last time. OK, this time, I mean it, no more chances." etc. I mean, to me, it sounded like Iraq was pretty clearly breaking the UN resolution, one which was supposed to be Saddam's "last chance" to turn it around, but now they just want to continue with the inspectors, thinking that simply getting caught will get him to stop.

I dunno, I think I'm swinging towards pro-war. I just don't see Saddam changing all of the sudden because he is caught. He is breaking the UN resolution and the UN needs to DO something about it, because without action their words will be meaningless in the future.

    thoughts?

the spanish ambassador said it best "what is the point of sending the inspectors back. the resolution has been violated. the evidence shows a terrible future. what more is needed?" [quoted loosely]

they'll wait for the US to make a move then everyone will jump on board. same old same old.
