Is this show hysterical or what? I missed Dave Atell here in DC. He sold out four shows at the Improv in no time flat. So I'll have to settle for Insomniac. Can't wait for the new season to start when he goes to Europe. Any other fans out there?
I love this show! He came here to Boise, Idaho a while back. Bar scene 24 hour diner Night skiing at Bogus Gay bar (they pierced some guys schlong) Dairy farm Clay target shooting I think that is all he did here. I still crack up everytime I see the Phoenix show when he goes to a nudist resort and they are doing karaoke.
I liked the one in KC I think it was, were he did a little RiverBoat gambling and won big time. He then proceeded to pick up a couple of strippers in a limo. They got smashed on a couple of bottles of bubbly and then went to some rib joint. The one at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada was priceless too......
Another good shooting episode was when he was in I think New Orleans and he was riding around in the back of a pickup with some cops in the middle of the night and one cop was offing off these big ass rats in a canal with .22 rifle with a silencer. Now that looks like fun!!! LOL didn't he go to a swinger's club in I think Miami??
I saw part of the one with him in Amsterdam. Ah, Amsterdam, the only city that makes Vegas look like its run by Mormons.
Did anybody see the last one in Amsterdam? How he bombed in the comedy club? And he was actually funny. Yet Tom Rhodes is huge in The Netherlands. Weird.
I thought KC was cool, but that's just becuase I'm from there. Other than that I wasn't very impressed with it as I've seen better ones. The best part of it was him riding around with bail bondsman "hunting man", that was pretty cool. As someone said, the New Orleans one was really cool with him riding on the back of a pickup offing these nasty ass giant rats.
in the boston one, they went to the sewage plant and the guy was saying they call the condoms they find, rainbow trout, b/c they come in all different colors... i was dying. its a great show
I've got a TiVo Season Pass for this. It's hit-and-miss -- much better when he has a plan of where to go than when he's just walking & drinking. Faves, off the top of my head: -- 1,100 feet into the earth with coal miners -- travelling all night with the guy in Oakland who cleans up crime scenes -- as has already been mentioned, nude karaoke -- the 70s rock band groupie - unbelievably scary stuff -- the entire Anchorage show
