Having just looked at it for the first time in a long long long while, a couple of things were left out that came to my mind. 1. Large DC United flags that can be hung outside of your home or can be taken to the games (that may be against the rules, I'm not sure). 2. I didn't see any bumper stickers. I saw the license plate frame which is very cool, but no bumper stickers. 3. How about a larger selection of long sleeve shirts? There was only one. 4. How about a large assortment of posters. I have a couple in my room but they are from RFK. I think that posters would be a good sell. 5. How about a DC United warm up suit? I know there have been threads like this in the past, but I just wanted to bring the subject up again. Also, because it had been so long since I had seen the store, it may be improved from what it was, I don't remember. Anyways, anyone else have any thoughts for improvement?
absolutely correct. responding to ryman- we really do need to get large flags. but first, we should be allowed to have them in the stadium.
Agreed. I thought the same thing about the long sleeve jerseys. How about a Starter Jacket with DC United on it?
that sounds good right now too. starter jackets and also rainjackets. a black rainjacket with the logo on it.
Bring back the blue baseball cap (or any of the old black ones)! The hats they have now look like they were designed by NASCAR merchandising.
A good place to start would be to fire the short bus company doing it right now. mlsgear does a better job and that doesn't really benefit the club.
At meet the coaches night I specifically asked Steve Zack about the store and he told us that major improvements would be seen early in the season. I haven't seen anything close to what you would call an improvement. How bad does it suck that you have to go outside the club to get a new jersey?
Kind of goes along with why haven't they just made those damn More Cowbell t-shirts? They'd make their money back and then some if they just made them up and sold them. Duh! K
What kills me is that there are places like this around and MLS keeps dragging its feet. Granted a pro sports league should aspire higher than Cafe Press, but they could have stuff available today if they wanted. Unreal.

DC United's Online Store has just added adidas Black and Whites polo shirts and match shorts as well as a new t shirt. Good start, but I'm afraid they're done.
By the way, the black match shorts from last year are great. They have built-in compression shorts. I picked up a pair at the equipment room sale. They're the best shorts I own. If the ones online are the same as last year's, I highly recommend them.
actually, its available nowhere. Adidas sends that pic out to everyseller, saying its the official shirt, but no shirt you can buy has three stars on it.
