There is no time to rest for our lovable heroes. Fresh off the heels of the villains from the metropolis to the east, a new foe and minion of E.V.I.L. arrives to test their might against our Crew. But this time, they not only seek victory, they wish to steal their very identity. For these minions also wear yellow, not in homage, but in contempt.

With such a quick turnaround, will our Crew overcome the deck being stacked against them and pull out victory? Can the true band of yellow clad heroes overcome their challenge, or will the imposters seize the day?

We damn well better wear our stupid lame-ass white/yellow combo instead of the all black so those f***ers can’t wear yellow in our house!
    F***ers.
    Did I call them f***ers?
    Yes. Yes I did.

So Etienne will be returning to Columbus after Sunday's Gold Cup match. Gotta think the odds are that Molino might be coming back, as well.

If you're referring to the terrible white stadium jersey, then yes. No question. Self-inflicted. Yellow with the same geometric pattern would have been sharp.

But we didn't pick Nashville's colors. And we sure as hell dictate to Nashville's front office that they "are MLS's gold team," as they declared just before their first season.

I'd be more offended with Nashville's yellow or gold if our club actually made a point of owning the yellow over the past several years. For years we haven't really owned it. We've worn black at home too many times to count. The black top has essentially been our primary for years, going back to beginning or middle of Berhalter's tenure. In the meantime we've had the For Columbus jersey and now this ridiculous stadium kit. Sometimes, even when we wore the yellow top we'd go with black shorts.

Again, we did it to ourselves. I'm far more discouraged with how the Crew has treated the yellow over the past several years, than any other team trying it on.

Agreed. There was also that white jersey around ~2011ish with the black and gold "scarf" pattern up by the shoulders--like ZipSix's old avatar. We've not done a good job of "owning" the yellow. We should be wearing it home and away unless playing Houston (or in f***ing Nashville).

Etienne plays the last group game tomorrow at 5 pm. They need for Mexico to lose, themselves to win, and the combination needs to make up a GD of 5. I expect Etienne to be in the 18 for this match. Molino plays at 10 pm and they're already out so he definitely should be here too. Room's already here so that leaves Zardes, Diaz, and Fraser out for additional games.

I think you got that backward. Haiti/Etienne is out, and play at 5pm vs Martinique. Molino/T&T still has a chance, and play at 10pm vs Guatemala.

Molino did not start last night for T&T. He was subbed in at 67 minutes. So you'd think he'd have the legs to play Wednesday.

Etienne played 90 minutes for Haiti last night. They only had two players on the subs bench, and didn't use either of them.

I think 45 for each is doable on Wednesday. You could start Etienne and Santos, then move Santos to left back and bring in Matan and Molino at the half (or one at the half, the other at 60).

Also worth noting they have only played 3 of their first 13 games on the road and are winless on the road.

They’re also missing Zimmerman, Johnston, and almost certainly Godoy, but Ake Loba could make his debut, having already scored against Columbus this year.

Odd, didn't have any problem buying parking at Brodbelt yesterday for Wednesday's game.
