Don't post transfer rumors about non-Mexicans in here. You're in a subforum literally called "Mexicans Abroad".
Why are we allowing TitoTata to derail a thread about Mexico soccer? that has nothing to do with Mexico soccer international transfer rumors, so why are people even responding? c'mon guys
Duse is a known troll on these boards but he's still here... He even created a sock...that alone should be a ban.
This tweet has been making the rounds recently.
Would be great! I believe Belgium has shorter passport requirements, should be a great option for getting out and official.
Romo is on the verge of exploding. He has the ability to make the long pass, he can make the pass that leads to the goal - playmaking ability, and he is versatile. Reminds me of Pardo with more playmaking ability. Also, he seems to have leadership qualities that the national team is lacking. If he does well at Celta it could be a stepping stone to a higher quality team in Europe, especially in Italy since they've been buying a lot of players from smaller Spanish teams the last few years. I'm convinced of his quality and I think if all goes well he will end up having a better career in Europe that HH who has a great career compared to other Mexican mids in Europe.
Yeah but he has only played 9 games, the first couple as a CB if I remember correctly (which isn't where he's going to play with the NT moving forward). He's really only played a few games as a mid and several where games where the entire squad looked like shit.
I don't know about having a better career than Herrera. He's already 26, but I'm glad that it's looking like he's going, period. He's cut from the same cloth as Herrera, both were playing in 3rd/4th division teams in their early 20's, getting minutes wherever they were given them, without giving up and stagnating. There's talent in those divisions but my guess is the romanticizing of playing at certain first division teams + bad habits that are easily picked up in those leagues probably lead so many players to get impatient, stagnate, and do the bare minimum.
To add some context, this will almost certainly include him signing an extension with Chivas bc his contract is up in a year.
A struggling striker getting loaned, not sold, to a mid-table La Liga team that doesn’t have the luxury of patience with young players. What could go wrong.
Martin dp said that it's with an option of must buy if he is able to achieve some of the goals that are in his contract.
And some said last year selling Macias to a Lille or Marseille who we’re rumored to be going after him was a mistake since he needed to go to better clubs. One year later and he’s going on loan to a team that was fighting relegation in Spain. Great move.
Judging by how the Picante crew have been talking about Macías going to Getafe, it seems like it’s a done deal
