Importance of McBride's and JMM's performance in the EPL to other Yanks?

If McBride and JMM can play and do okay in the EPL, just think what Mathis, Twellman, Buddle, Donovan etc. could do. Any kind of mass exodus will of course be limited by UK work permits, but it's nice to know that we've got guys who can put the ball into the back of the net at the highest levels.

I think McBride's and JMM's performance also says a lot about MLS and it's level.

JMM? One would have to ask, what has he done lately? His success was pretty short term.

By the way, three goals yesterday for one-time Crew players, with non-YA Stern John bagging one for Birmingham.

John's goal was against Friedel as well....

McBride's success will probably be the same. The point is that we've got players coming through the ranks with advantages that guys like McBride and JMM never had. They should be able to have even more of an impact.
