Unfortunately...no REV content. Heard about the big Dunkin' Donuts Giveaway this morning. The top prize is season tickets to the Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins. Why shouldn't I be surprised that they didn't include REVS tickets?????

If I win, I'll sell any one of 'em to somebody for a Cat 1 Revs price, and buy a Revs season ticket. Hell, maybe even 2 or 3 season tickets, depending on what I could get.

Ugh. Joe Franchino was even in one of their commercials!!! So was Kristine Lilly of the Breakers for that matter.

I, for one, wouldn't complain about winning Bruins tickets.

    Not true!

The ad in yesterday's Globe listed a few prizes from both the Revs and Breakers. Can't remember them all but, I think a clinic with a player was one prize. Also, I remeber TT's and Kristine Lilly's names listed for some reason.

Ugh, more money into Jeremy Jacobs' pocket. Though at least if you won the tickets, it wouldn't be money out of your pocket.

i heard the radio spot yesterday and they mentioned both the breakers and the revs. i think they even did a generic soccer "goal" soundbyte.

Actually, it's on the outskirts somewhere. I don't think there's one planned for Boston proper yet.

I often drive to one on the Berlin Turnpike in CT. I usually manage to go my inlaws too when I make this trip.

I remember in the 70's/80's when all over the South Krispy Kreme shops were the place in town where the locals went to stuff sugar to treat hangovers. The donuts were extra greasy and the coffee extra weak. In other words, pure crap. DD was miles better. Well DD has gone way, way down, HonetDew isn't any better and Krispy Kreme is still crap.

The only good thing about any of them is that the DD bagels are OK and since most of the stores are staffed by folks from Brasil the coffee is a little better, at least it is made slightly stronger.

But, truly, yuck for he lot of them.

I had heard that Dunkin Donuts was trying to block Krispy Kreme from coming to MA.

Some of my co-workers swear that Krispy Kremes are the best. They always get them when travelling to Atlanta. I was told that the light goes on in the store window when the fresh donuts are ready. Dunkin Donuts used to have commercials saying "time to make the donuts" and brag about them being fresh. I think they have them delivered now. I've never had Krispy Kremes and I haven't had Dunkin Donuts in years. Personally, I really enjoyed the donuts and pastries I had this past weekend when travelling in NJ. Pinho's Bakery in Roselle. Excellent!!

Anyway, happy to hear the Revs and Breakers are included.

As a stock holder, I'll advise you to go to Krispy Kreme as often as possible.

No, this is a better thread than any that contained mention of R. Goulooze or John Harkes' book.
