Mystics and fellow Wizards fans, I'm just posting this to let you know that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. I haven't posted much of late because I've been pretty busy, but that should let up pretty soon. March is crazy in Westport with Mardi Gras, St. Pat's, and college hoops. Both jobs have been working me hard. I'm going to be going back to school in the fall. So I've also been in the process of getting admissions and loans processed. So I apologize if it seems like the new president is non-exisitent. I have had a meeting, and several phone conversations with Curt Johnson already. Curt set up the meeting so that the Mystics wouldn't be 'blind-sided' by the new Zard club. Curt also asked me for a list of our chants so that the Zards could more easily join in with some of what we do. I honestly believe that Curt values the Mystics both as fans and as part of the Wizards gameday atmosphere. So again, I apologize that I did not relay the content of that meeting with the rest of the Mystics quicker. I will get better at this, I promise. I also intend to talk to Curt at the 'Meet the Players" party about the topic of banners and other items the Mystics have traditionally brought into the stadium. Obviously, I'll be at that party and in Tulsa on Saturday, and on the Plaza this Sunday for the Wizards kickoff party. I know this is a bit on the fly, but is there a chance for the mystics to have a table, or booth or something the likes of that at the party on the plaza.
Don't get me wrong, but the problems that have come up shouldn't they have been dealt with earlier. So now we are rushing around trying to make sure everything is in order at the last minute. If you need help please ask.
