It seems to go on for ever and ever without getting anywhere with all the leagues. I know my team will never get into it, but goodness me the competition is sooooooooo dull. Only the Newcastle Feynoord game was in any way exciting for the neutral.
Don't give a monkey's about either team personally speaking. I wish it would go back to a straight forward knockout format, then we might get some more shocks and surprises. Sadly, that'll never happen as the clubs want to squeeze the life out of European competitions in order to make as much money as possible.
Here they come. Milan-Real Madrid Inter-Barcelona Valencia-Arsenal Mancherster-Juventus etc etc If you dont enjoy these matches,I will guess you are american.
Come on... who's ever enjoyed an Inter match? And we should go back to knock out indeed, but one group phase is allright I guess. Two is too much.
Then don't watch or pay attention. This is the first year I've really followed the CL and I have found it very interesting. I watch the match trackers during the day here while the games are being played and there's generally at least 2 or 3 games that keep me going.
Then AFCA mentioned the 3-3 thriller between Lyon and Inter. Followed by: So what exactly IS your definition of a "neutral" anyway? And since when did you get to speak for all "neutrals".
The first group stage was nothing special, but this second group stage looks very promising. There's fantastic matches everywhere. It's hard to imagine a footy fan not getting excited about these groups!
Exactly. But probably the CL knock out stage next year has the consequence that the first group stage looks similar to this second group stage. At least I don't see how the smaller teams want to make the first CL group stage.
Bad enough American soccer fans get dissed in their own media. Now our brethren 'cross the pond refer to us in lower case!
When all the French teams get eliminated then it gets boring to me. Unfortunately it got boring earlier than usual this year because they all went out early
