The good thing for us in the next 2 rounds of games is that we play the day after West Ham, so we will know what we have to do. If we could beat Leeds and they lose to Arse and Newcastle, we'll be safe before even playing Chelsea. That is best case scenario of course.

Based on the club's track record with the academy/youth players, I would be extremely surprised to see any of them feature in the first team next season. If we are fortunate enough to stay up, the youth players will be way down the 'to-do' list.
How sweet it is: Villa 4-0 Forest. 'We always win' Not this time malaka! So good to see that Greek Buffoon get what he deserved after sneaking into the competition with dirty tricks. There is karma in the football world, and the team Big Malaka cheated out of their spot, Crystal Palace, are going to their first European final.
I would hope they give a few of the actual 'home grown' 20-odd appearances (including subs), just so they can be sold for pure profit like back in the Bentaleb, Mason, Skipp, Carroll, Pritchard etc years (then maybe one of them will become a Kane).
Nil-nil at the half at West Ham. I'd take that, but staying up and them not winning the League seems a lot to ask. If the Arse just go ahead and put this one to bed early in the second half, that'd be ok with me.
1-0 to Arsenal, who were very, very lucky in the end. West Ham leveled late, only to have it chalked off for a foul on Raya. Looked the correct call in the end to me, but there was a lot going on in the box and as VAR took its standard long-ass time, you had to wonder if the call might not be coming. Which would have been a lovely kick in the junk for Arteta et. al. But it wasn't to be. And while it brings them a step closer to the title, the whole match was a reminder that they really struggle to close shit out when the pressure's on. They've not won it yet. The upside, of course, is that West Ham have lost, and if we can do the business at home v Leeds we'll be four points clear with two to play. All we'll have to do is match West Ham's result in either of the last two games and it'll be job done. IF ... we take care of the now safe Leeds tomorrow.
Thank them for what? They did everything they could to bottle that game. They were extremely lucky to come away with anything.
Instinct runs deep. Even though VAR helped us, I was a little bit gleeful when that 'equalizer' went in. Even if they do go on to win the title, it'll be forever tainted by these lucky breaks.
I was actually hoping for a draw. The scenario was exactly what I wanted, really. Arsenal up a goal, so a west ham win didnt threaten, but Stam equalizing late enough that they'd have no time for a winner. It would've been perfect, but for VAR. But still good. West Ham not winning was the main thing.
Soton and 'Boro level on aggregate at halftime of their Championship semi. The winner will get Hull, who beat Millwall yesterday), in the final. Given a choice, I'd prefer Southampton, I suppose. Not that it's certain we'll be playing them, of course.
Scarlett gets his first Hibs goal to down Mikey Moore's Rangers, in 'The Battle of The Tottenham Loanees' that no-one asked for
I thought Sheffield Wednesday (John Bostock) 2-1 Yeovil (Jon Obika) in 2012 was 'The Battle of The Tottenham Loanees That No One Asked For'.
The SPL will go to the final day as Hearts take a one-point lead into Celtic Park. It should be 3 points, but Celtic were awarded a sham VAR penalty deep into stoppage time at Fir Park to steal all 3 points from Motherwell. The officiating for the run-in on both sides of the border has been a joke.
It's such bullshit. Hearts would have gone into the final game 3 points clear with a six-goal differential advantage. It would've been all but sewn up. Now all Celtic need do is win at home. Dammit, I'd love to see Hearts get something from Saturday. But you wouldn't bet on it, would ya?
Regardless of the teams involved I think most fans could agree the leagues are in the business of manufacturing drama, and these controversies are a big part of it. The decisive battles - winners or relegations - need to come down to the final game, the final minutes preferably.
Oh, for sure. I'm not suggesting that the SPL has it in for Hearts. But the legitimacy of the competition takes a distant backseat to the revenue streams.
