Kudus' suspension was upgraded to 5 games for his meltdown against us. He will miss Canning Town's next 3 matches (having already served 2 of the 3 games of his original suspension).

First time ever at Ewood Park tonight, as Blackburn host Stoke City.

    Jealous?

How's the weather? I would guess a balmy early November Lancashire evening.

It's good. Highs in the low 60s and lows around 50 all week. No rain.

No complaints for November, at all.

Meanwhile, at the San Siro, Arsenal lose again, 1-0 to Inter. The pitchforks are out Islington way.

And Villa lose at Brugges 1-0. Is this the Bizarro World effect of Dr. Tottenham?

I remember that! I watched it with friends here in Canada and they had no idea why I was the only person cracking up in the movie theatre.

I just wonder: when we let a struggling team beat us, we are called Dr. Tottenham.

But we have seen 2 examples this week where we beat teams that were doing well, and they went on to lose subsequent games. There has to be some kind of name for this rare phenomenon.

Maybe we could say we gave them COYID-19.

While Pook was sipping lattes on the boulevards of Blackburn-On-The-Sea, Millwall moved into the promotion places (albeit just 14 games in) with a 1-0 win over Leeds wirth a certain J. Tanganga scoring the winner.

For a club that self-professes that no one likes them, they sure do have a fair share of admirers.

Spurs loan Dane Scarlett starting up top for Oxford U v Watford at Vicarage Road. I was hoping to see Moussa Sissoko for the Hornets but he's not even on the bench. Hell, he may not be in their squad anymore for all I know. Whatever ... come on you ... er ... I don't really care. Some decent footy from either will do for me.

King Burger (burger van): solid B+
    Red Lion Pub: B-
Vicarage Road: C+ (chicken balti pie [supplied by Willy's Pies])

I've had worse pies, to be fair (this week).

edit: all were better than Dane Scarlett, who was pants.

Aberdeen making the SPL vaguely interesting for a change. I mean, they won't maintain this form, but it's fun while it lasts

When I booked my fares I was hopeful that both (Spurs and Wednesday) wouldn't go to Sunday, which was always likely. But even if not, I'd've been hard-pressed to come up with two tickets (I'm here with a mate) in the away end (it's at Bramall Lane). So, yeah, I'd hoped to do it, but it was never likely and it's Spurs/Ipswich in the end.

Man City and Villa a combined 0 for 5 since we trashed them. COYID-19 strikes again.
