Player sent off and they bottled it. Enjoy your cruise.

They do miss Olise, a fantastic player. They'll turn up against us though.

City only 1-0 at home to Saints and it was hard work against Wolves. Fulham must be gutted and for us, 5th place beckons. Not even we can snarl up tomorrow surely. Chelsea v Newcastle? Unpredictable but a draw would suit us.

What a week for Barca, 4-1 vs Bayern and 4-0 at Real Madrid. I think they're back, folks.

Can't believe we're losing this. I said last week we're not 100% because 4-1 flattered us.

I said if we don't beat CP by 4 goals something's wrong. Well, something's BADLY wrong with this team and I haven't a clue what it is.

Chickasaw, there's a separate thread for each of our games - this is the 'other teams' thread. Problem (for you) is they are usually started by Golara so if you have him on ignore still, you won't see those threads at all unless you click on 'show ignored content'.

Well Arsenal drop points at home to Liverpool. Doesn’t make up for that ludicrous performance, but their misery at seeing a title slipping away makes it little better.

That's about as good as it gets for us these days.

There is a footballing galaxy Arsenal, Liverpool, Villa, Chelsea and their supporters inhabit and then there's Levy's Spursland.

Also from The Real World of Football, a cracking 4-4 between Inter and Juve at the San Siro, with the visitors rallying from 4-2 down in the last 20 minutes.

Erik Ten Haag has “left” his role at ManU. Guess we’ll see what kind of manager options are out there now.

That's only going to ratchet up the pressure on our guy.

Another interesting note on Barcelona, 7 of the 14 players they used in their 4-0 thrashing of Real were products of their youth team, as were 6 of their 9 subs. Impressive.

Antonio Conte's Napoli go 7 points clear at the top of Serie A with an impressive 2-0 win over Milan at the San Siro. After losing their opener 3-0, they have won 8 of 9 and outscored the opposition 18-2 in the process.

Amazing what happens when your chairman is not Daniel Levy.

Arsenal’s season in tatters. Could be as low as 6th by the end of the weekend and 8 points adrift of City.

Although at half time of the other matches, most of the results so far making Arsenal’s slip not as damaging as it could be.

Wow. Bournemouth follow up beating Arse by doing the same against Man City.

Forest 3rd after battering West Ham, go Nuno.

I said that City made hard work of Wolves and Southampton so today's result is no surprise.

I noticed when Mourinho's teams were going well that he was a good manager but he couldn't turn things around when things weren't going well. Now, for the first time that I can remember City are struggling under Pep so let's see if he can turn this around, let's see his mettle. Will he throw his dummy out of the pram if he wins nothing this season by quitting? Let's see.
