But Canada stunned Mexico in the quarters with Steve Nash's brother Martin setting up the winning goal. Even the Canadian commentators didn't seem to believe what they had seen.

Amazing turn of events. You've got player that wanted to come to you, but whose club's evaluation of him was higher than that of your club, and you decide to publicly take a shot at him. I only have two possible takes from this: a) Pep Guardiola is a monumental tw*t. b) Pep fully expected the player to take a bigger role in engineering the move.
