You shouldn't assume that there will be money for you to strengthen your squad in the near future. You have a big financial albatross round your neck for the next twenty years in the form of Ashburton Grove. Sure, it will be a magnificent facility and your match day revenues will improve dramatically, but the debt burden will be colossal. Most teams that move stadiums do not prosper for many years, Chelsea almost went bankrupt after building their East Stand in the 70's and other clubs had similar problems after ground improvements and expansions. Have you seen any team actually prosper after moving to a new home? Sunderland? Boro? Soton? Man City? Derby? Bolton are the closest to having had some success after moving but They have been moved now for several years.
Hold on a second, I think we're being a little pathetic here, this is not a Gay joke this is a coffee joke, the gay reference was in the original post! not mine, the 'meant as a joke' line was not posted by me, there was no need for me to post such a line, as the joke was about how I take my COFFEE, I resent the fact that people feel they need to speak for me, and edit my posts without saying that they have done so(making it look as though, I feel guilty about it, which I have no need to be, as it's a coffee joke. Where have I said anything about gays ? maybe you, or the person who Demanded I be 'reprimanded' could have the decency to explain.

GR may be stirring the pot but at least he's making coherent and rational arguments, as opposed to some of the crap that's been posted on your forum by people who never seem to post around here (not that I want them to start).
Maybe you didn't read his previous posts that were constantly being edited by mods, His Deathness sure was pissing people off in here. The Arsenal trolls are taken care of now. They've been weeded out thanks to GPK, rickbreese and Coach.
A lot of stuff got edited while I was at work last night so I probably don't know what I'm writing about. I didn't take any offence to his original thread and I figured I was just missing out on more of the same.
