Im a Chelsea fan and Ive just realised there is a Chelsea board, so from now on I will be a good little boy or girl as my name is not gender specific and only post things like that on the Chelsea board.
Id like to say that I am sorry and the best drink in the world is Um Bongo which I like to suck from a baby's bottle.

Seeing as how the Red Sox won it all this year, there is really only one logical move to make:

I believe that it is OK to mention that Chelsea were in 1st place in the Prem heading into the Christmas break last season........and won absolutely nothing!

Nice wind up....but nobody here really cares about Chelsea right now. However, next weekend we will.

I think second or third posting still constitutes "new" doesn't it?

I am preoccupied with any CL Match for Arsenal, regardless of opponent.

One win for Chelsea in the last 18 attempts against Arsenal is nothing to get the lips flapping about now is it? Clearly, Chelsea are a better squad than last year but 5 points is not exactly a forgone conclusion yet. In my opinion Arsenal are just as good as last year, if not better. They are simply experiencing more injuries this season. Time will tell and if Chelsea have the goods to win the Prem for the first time in 50 years, I will tip my hat to them. And then I will quickly put in my old tape of Kanu's hat trick at the Bridge and feel a little better.

I am not quite sure what there is to argue about.

Outside of the reserves tournament that is the Carling Cup, we are still alive in all competitions and only 5 points off the top of the table in the Prem, despite having to let a 17 year old deputize our midfield.

Sol is our key. If Sol is healthy we have every chance to win whatever title we are competing for. I think if you look back at our record with Sol in the starting 11, you will find that we have lost exactly 2 Premiership games in 2.5 years.

A bit dicey to rely on one player isn't it?

No question Campbell is good, but can he cope with Drogba when Duff and Robben are supplying him from either flank? Drogba is big and beefy, but quick, and is great in the air.

Robben will turn your defence inside out, look for Campbell to make many desperate lunges next sunday...

Believe me, I will be highly disappointed if there is no defensive help brought in during the January Transfer window.

I like our options up front with Henry, Reyes, Bergkamp, and Van Persie.

I am more than satisfied with the play of Fabregas. I think you will see better stuff from Viera. Pires has at times seemed a bit off but when you look at his scoring record you must always place tremendous value on his efforts. Freddie to me has been the player of the season for Arsenal. Without Parlour and Keown in the team, its now just Viera and Freddie that seem to give you that tough, hard presence out there. I think that we have conceded more goals without Gilberto in the team. Most people undervalue his positional defense.

I like our starting back four, although I hope they learn to defend set pieces better. And I am very comfortable with Clichy out there. Lauren is not world class in my opinion but I can't fault our losses on him.

So, I guess what we are looking at really comes down to more consistent goal keeping and getting deeper at Right Back and Center Back. As more money come into the club, I think you will steadily see the size and depth of the squad grow. You will also see some of your younger reserve players contribute, without costing us Millions to sign.

I don't believe that we are relying on one player. If we are, it is too often on Henry. I was just merely pointing out that our defense is very highly rated when Sol is healthy. I am sure that Chelsea's defensive record would suffer without Terry in the team for 2 months, regardless of who you brought in to replace him.

We don't usually have to rely on him so heavily but with Paddy, Edu and Gilberto all out the spine of the team is severly weakened, especially from a defensive perspective.

You should forget about Duff and Robben as there's an excellent chance that Lampard's just going to just walk the ball up the pitch from midfield. Unless Toure gets moved up to d-mid Lampard is going to have the run of the pitch all day.

If Drogba is really as good as you say he is why has he only scored so few goals so far this season when Henry has scored 13 who's better now. You only went for Drogba because you couldn't prize Henry away from us.

I wouldn't compare Drogba with Henry, but I would compare Robben with him. Drogba is more in the Alan Shearer mould though he has to go along way before he can be compared to him.
