Me too. It's going to be hard on her, changing at age 17, but she'll get used to it.

Weird. I woke up this morning to find a note from my wife that read "Happy Father's Day." I thought, she's a little late with that sentiment. Then I looked down and saw the EPT with "pregnant" lit up (I guess her sentiment wasn't the only thing that was late). When Landon scored the goal I had the same thought as the rest of you. I hope it's a boy (already have a 2 yr. old girl), or else I might have to come up with something creative, like Donna Van, or whatever.

I told my fiancee the same thing. She agreed.

Of course she's liked Donovan since I introduced her to soccer...

My second, a boy, was due yesterday. He's still not here, but my wife is being induced on Friday. For months now I have been saying that if Landon shows up, his name will be Landon.

He showed up big time! My son is going to be named Landon!!

Congratulations! And great timing too, you should be available to watch Saturday's game since the blessed event should have concluded. You are blessed, my friend.

I'm not even close to being married however i will probably name a kid Landon after Donovan the Great. Luckily for me, if my wife disagrees i can just tell her he is named after my brother who is also named Landon, though secretely it will be after Donovan.

Some day, Landon will become a common name like Bill and John. We could tell our kids how that happened. :D

How about Abby (Abby Wambach)? I think that's a unique and beautiful name. Or maybe that's a common name in certain regions?
