I'm looking for the Arsenal Polo in red or black from somewhere in the US any ideas of where I can find it. If they have the Valencia polo too then I can kill 2 birds with one stone...any help would be appreciated...Thanks
I got mine at Arsenal.com online store and they can also be found at Kitbag etc. Specific to the US, you can occasionally find them on ebay, but I gave up and footed the bill for the international shipping. If you do find a good source of Arsenal gear in the US, please let me know.
If you wait a couple of months, the Arsenal store has free shipping. I ordered one from there last year that's a very, very dark blue with red shoulders and a red collar. They won't knock VAT off, but it's still good.
VAT stands for Value Added Tax. It's something like an 18% tax that's added on to the price of goods in the European Union. It's included in the price you see on stuff, so it's not like this country where tax is added on at the register. If you live outside of the European Union, most sites (like Kitbag) will take it off and, if you're visiting and EU country, you can get a tax refund if you spend a certain amount at a store. It meant a nice $28 gift for me about a month after I got back from London!
so how do you get your money back? do you have to apply or write to somebody? i mean they don't just give your money back at customs do they?
Actually there are places in the airport where you can either get your refund (minus a service fee) in cash or just have them stamp it so you can mail it in and get your refund credited to your credit card or checking account. Either way, you have to get the forms (which you get at the store you bought stuff at) stamped by customs officials in order to get the refund.
