Chandler did get in a glancing header on an awkward deflected chance that prevented a golden chance for Anderson. Also picked up a yellow in the 25th, making an unnecessarily vigorous slide tackle that missed the ball after a change of possession deep in Koln territory.
Chandler took a bad enough injury that he was bleeding and missed time as the trainers stopped the bleeding, but was able to rally and finish out the 90 minutes. It was a very abnormal amount of blood for a soccer injury - somewhat more like horror movie makeup.
Chandler starting for Eintracht Frankfurt against Royal Antwerp. No head-to-head RB vs LB, though, as Sam Vines is hurt.
Chandler playing RWB as Frankfurt has the much better of play so far. Guilty of not tracking his man on the first real Antwerp shot, but it was aimed right at Trapp's gut and saved anyway.
Chandler very well struck cross to the back post that forces an excellent save right on the line. Would have been a quality assist, but also may have been called back for offside if it had gone in. Overall, he's been a step slow on the defensive side of the ball, but contributing well when Frankfurt have possession.
Someone threw something explosive at Kevin Trapp, I think. Holy crap. He seems OK now, but that might have been terrifying.
Another near-assist for Chandler on a low cross to the right spot, good save by the keeper. Funny combination in this game where he's come close to 3-4 assists but also seemed unable to handle De Laet on his wing.
Chandler fights for a cross at the six-yard box looking for the game-winner. Out of bounds wide of the post, probably off of De Laet, but ruled a goal kick off of Chandler.

Chandler still in, and Frankfurt just took the lead 2-1 over Bayern, somehow. Chandler the LM in a 3-4-3 - sort of a LWB role - and mercifully not up against Alphonso Davies.
Somehow, after an intense last stretch, Fankfurt hold on for the win. Chandler looked utterly gassed by the end, but it didn't matter.
His best stretch of form since the December 19/February 20 period when he scored a handful of goals, managed some assists, and was MOTM twice. Since that didn't get him back in the NT, it's unlikely this will get him back either.
He was rumored to be in consideration for the March 2020 friendlies... but sometimes your timing can be off.
Hmm, I bet this guy is better than Shaq Moore. Just a guess though . Bundesliga > Second division in Spain.

Couldn't last. His coach basically blamed him for the loss to Hertha because Chandler tried to score, so now he's not even making the bench. https://bulinews.com/news/10326/gla...-agreed-that-wed-play-more-reserved-the-right Glasner singles out Chandler after loss: "We agreed that we'd play more reserved on the right." Of all the Bundesliga matchday 8 quotes, Eintracht Frankfurt head-coach Oliver Glasner's diatribe following his team's latest loss garnered the most attention in the Bundesrepublik. The SGE's new trainer relentlessly criticized his players for their poor performance against Hertha BSC; seemingly singling out one in particular for not following his instructions. [...] "I saw nothing at all of what we set out to do," he said, "We agreed that we would play a little more reserved on the right, but we were much too high on the outer lanes. We didn't do that. The three defenders were too often alone and they just didn't get it done." With this statement, it was absolutely clear which player Glasner was referring to. Even if he didn't mention him by name, the SGE gaffer was clearly disappointed with Timothy Chandler on the right-wing. The highly respected and ever passionate Frankfurt native was supposed to hang back and assist the defense while Filip Kostic worked an advanced stagger.
