Very good chance at some Champions League minutes next fall.

Funny that USMNT fans see him as a bad egg, but clearly Frankfurt loves him

Chandler subbing into the game in the 64th minute, with Mainz up a goal. If this result holds, it has a lot of implications for a number of different Bundesliga YAs.

It would guarantee RB Leipzig (Tyler Adams and Jesse Marsch, and potentially Caden Clark) a spot in next year's Champions League, although that was hardly in doubt. It would mean that Dortmund (Gio Reyna) would remain in the top 4 and be in control of their own destiny heading into the final two matches of the season. And it would make Wolfsburg's (Brooks) chances of playing in the Champions League next season much more secure. Frankfurt (Chandler) would also have their work cut out for them now to secure Champions League qualification, since they would be on the outside looking in.

Chandler has been playing well, and it is now 1-1. Frankfurt looking dangerous.

Frankfurt came pretty close to winning this. Chandler had a great cross and a touch header pass in the box that each almost produced a game winning assist.

Didn't watcch from the beginning, but he had a couple of shots, playing with confidence. Perhap too much confidence? Frankfurt is in a battle for Champions League spots, mostly with Dortmund, and have to beat mighty Schalke (Hoppe bench), 1-1 at the half on a Huntelaar goal and a goalkeeping mistake.

1-1 late, and Chandler just put a cross through the six yard box that I guess Silva didn't see? Could have been the gamewinner.

Then Chandler is subbed out in the 81st minute.

Eintracht Frankfurt signed Oliver Glasner from Wolfsburg to replace fellow Austrian Adi Hütter as manager. Hütter left to take the Borussia Mönchengladbach job.

Chandler scored a goal and picked up 2 yellow cards in 422 minutes (15 appearances including 3 starts). Eintracht Frankfurt finished fifth in the Bundesliga and qualified for the Europa League group stage.

Chandler also played 28 minutes (2 appearances) in the DFB Pokal. Eintracht Frankfurt were eliminated in the second round.

Jay Lo is all set and not worried about a new coach. He signed a contract through 2025 with options to take a job with the club after he retires from playing.

“Timmy’s value for the team and the entire environment goes far beyond the sporting side,” Frankfurt sporting director Fredi Bobic said. “Because of his services, he is held in high regard everywhere, and his word carries weight.”

Watching this now - Timmy starts at left back. Gregg loves a guy he can play out of position...
