Dam loadmasters, it is funny watching an E-4 loadmaster tell an Army O-5 to ************ off when our equipment isn't prepped right to get a C17 or C5.

Pretty exciting travel agenda as a loadmaster. You'll get to go all over the world. Flew fighters 12yrs myself. Got to ride on the support planes plenty though. Better coffee and seats...

Good luck. Don't let the wolves get you @Fairchild.

yeah. i like the travelling bit. and its cool that i get wings and a flight suit (and as a results, the occasional dumbass saluting me). and i cant wait to see if basketball really IS better when played above 30k feet...

and fairchild kinda scares me... dunno how much ill enjoy survival school...

Fairchild is a great "experience", not way up on the vacation routes though. If you like Fairchild, the Lieutenant can get you into Jungle stuff (really crazy).

All survival schools are about preparation and then keeping your wits about you. Panic and fear are what you'll learn to overcome. If you really like it you're ready for the Marines (bugs are us)!

You'll develop a new appreciation for bad mattresses with clean sheets.

I'd wish you good luck, but luck's not involved.

    Enjoy it...

    i am.

however, since i didnt squeeze the DLAB in before i went to BMT (************ing MEPS), they gave me a run around here at basic and told me all these lies... ill definatley be cross training ASAP... theyll want me as some sort of intel guy anyways, soon... they REALLY need linguists too.
