I think due to the lack of a clear cut first option for the RW the idea was/is to try and recover some sort of well performing Bale.
This is probably it, considering Rodrygo form and Lucas being mainly a substitute option. With that said, Bale ain't it. Fcuk him, his agent and the medias who heap pressure on us to play a guy they know makes us significantly worse.
I know, but it's the most logical explanation. I don't believe that he starts him to be petty towards those that Try to create a story around it.
Maybe he should have used that energy ( minutes) to develop a clear cut option from one of the youngsters for the right wing instead , or, maybe “has” tried both paths
You don't think he hasn't tried? We havr tried Rodrygo and Vinicius there. When Rodrygo was in good form Zidane kept playing him. When his form went poor he stopped.
I don't understand that. is it health issue of Mendy that prevents him from playing every game? really? in what way Marcelo is better or adding to the team? wtf?!? this is as unprofessional as it can get. you really believe Zidane is that idiot that he rather have Marcelo happy than actually winning anything this year? (and not that Marcelo is our biggest problem, but he adds almost nothing to the offense and degrade our defense in such way that every opponent attack from the right side seems like a goal).
No it isn't, it's part of man management and creating a solid group foundation. I believe that there are far too many eventualities between play Marcelo and not win anything and not play Marcelo and win titles. And everybody that stops to take a breath knows it. I think Zidane has been doing a good job managing the people and the team equally this season.
I'm going to 1up on my initial point and let you have a look at Tuchel and as competent as he can be, he can't handle the squad in Paris. At all.
I think Marcelo has to play here and there because an injury or suspension could force him into action and he could be in worse shape and form if he never plays.
Casemiro: "Zidane has made us believe that we are all important, we are all prepared; I do not think the team missed me in the Copa elimination. Zidane has evolved a lot as a coach. He's lucky? Hey man tell Pep to spend some money can come sign Modric. While he's here we have Welish wizard Gareth Bale they can take for free.

Does it matter? None of them score and rarely make a positive input anyways. We are going to need Kroos combining with Case/Ramos to give us any positive result.
Vinicius tends to have positive performances at the Bernabeu, I’d pair him with Benzema in 4312, he might not score but he’ll tear that City defense up and provide opportunities for his teammates. Alternatively we could play with 5 midfields, yes they didn’t do well against Atleti but that’s down to the fact that Atleti Bunkered down and countered, City won’t do that, if we can take control of this game and cut De Bruyne out then I like our chances.
I am quite sure he will start Bale paired with Benz and Isco. In big games he tends to opt for the more experienced players. I would play VJ every damn game from now on. And ofc Rodrygo since he, apart from LV , is our only right winger. I just hate it when coaches play players out of position. Isco is NOT a winger.
