Illinois Socker I actually talked to an Eclipse U16 a couple of months ago. He said he used to be on the Sockers, but then he left the club when they got an influx of new players and put him on the B team. Says all you need to know ... at the older ages, Illinois soccer remains Magic, Sockers, and everybody else.

I also heard that magic's player would not have made half of the difference that the sockers player would have made. Many rumors were going around Illinois about the selection of the Magic player making that trip. Does anyone have any information on these players.
I have heard the rumors and from what I know and have seen of the player they are false. Everytime I watched him play he has stood out and has always impressed me. Maybe somebody had false information or was jealous.
i have seen this magic player play many times and i have never been impressed. There is no way he matches Will Johnson's skill...so compare this magic player to Will and there is no competition...Will would have made a huge impact on that game.
I really don't think that you can compare them. They are totally different players. I have seen Will play a few times, and he likes to go one on one more and try to take people on. The magic player is likes to sit in some more and link up the game. I think he is a midfielder and will is a forward. Will probably would have had a lot of effect on the game but the magic player might have given the sockers midfield a hard time. I think I have a pretty good view of this because I am able to watch magic and sockers games pretty regularly.

Actually you are wrong. I believe he has gone to France to have a trial with Monaco. And he is obviously better than you because look who you play for. Thats all I have to say for that.
