Still wearing his protective boot at times (more than likely just as a precaution) but still working to get himself fit by the looks of it. Fingers crossed he'll be ready to return by end of the month at the latest and we can still get a couple of months from him for the business end of the season. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8S5b7Dl5lL/
Juve and Real taking the piss big time here. United willing to sell Pogba for a mere €100mil, if this even true, is already a bargain for all intents and purposes. Not to mention it's less than what they originally paid also and don't believe they'd put it publicly they are ready to take some type of loss on him...
Meh. His price has depreciated the whole time he has been at United. If he really wants out so bad, his agent must have been in communication with other clubs. They're going to get the best price. United's never really been great at selling anyhow. Like they couldn't have gotten more than 80M for Ronaldo?
Pogba is United's player, not Raiola's - Ole https://bleacherreport.com/articles...-pogba-is-man-uniteds-player-not-mino-raiolas Raiola responds... Raiola: “Pogba is not mine and for sure not Solskjaer’s property. Paul is Paul Pogba’s. You cannot own a human being already for a long time in the UK or anywhere else. I hope Solskjaer don’t want to suggest that Paul is his prisoner”. 🔴 #MUFC #ManUnited— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) February 17, 2020 Raiola: “Solskjaer should inform himself about my words. I am free to express my thoughts. Until now I was maybe nice to him. Solskjaer should just remember things that he said in summer to Pogba. I think Solskjaer may be frustrated for different reasons...”. 🔴 #MUFC #ManUnited— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) February 17, 2020 Raiola: “I think Solskjaer has other things to worry about... more than my words about Pogba’s future. At least, if I was him, I would”. 🔴 #MUFC #ManUnited— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) February 17, 2020
I predicted right back at the start that he was a cancer in the club No idea why superstars like pogba need such an agent He just diverts large amounts of money the player could earn for no real benefit
You probably know this but it's mostly network-based. Agents generally have a portfolio of favourable clubs at any time and most signings are opportune. This Sane transfer saga has seen him change his agents twice with literally no progress. Plus, you have to grant that football players ain't the shrewdest of business men (some are).
Well that's the thing - it is largely corrupt, and there is no effective oversight as to what happens with the vast agent 'fees' Raiola takes or how this money greases the wheels via brown envelopes. I mean according to original reports Raiola even takes part of Pogba's salary! But elite players do not need this kind of agent.
Everyone here is pissed at Raiola when we should be pissed at Pogba. Raiola reps Pogba and therefore Pogba could shut him up in an instant if he wanted. The fact that he lets him keep running his mouth against the club is a joke. Pogba is letting Raiola force his way out of the club whole Pogba gets to save face because he's not the one saying shit in the media.
The two things are completely linked These days players frequently have greater loyalty to their agent than their club. Again why you should never let these kind of super agents in if you want to have a strategic talent plan
Pogba wants to leave: he did since last season and he made it crystal clear. Yet the club forced him to stay? His stance has not changed at all: it's no surprise that his camp (in this case Raiola) are taking things to the next level to insure he gets his wish this time around. United needs to set a fair price for Pogba, have whoever wants him meet it and just let him go. It's a pity that things are looking to get ugly, but they feel that's what they need to do (just as Lukaku did to a certain extent) to get what they want. It's all part of the game and had United had done their part to make the team genuinely better in the 3.5yrs that Pogba has been there, things would not had gotten to the point they are now. Raiola being the ruthless cvnt that he is will do whatever he can to grant his client's wishes, because he simply does not care and that's who he is. What needs to happen between now and the summer is for the club to be the grown up in this situation and tell Raiola/Pogba that they'll let Pogs go in the summer (provided they get what they expect from him). In the meantime, everyone puts the BS to bed and for Pogba to give it his all for the club until the end of the season.
Pogba could have forced a move last summer, but told Raiola to calm down. I think thats the best he can do. Raiola is a big character himself. I also think this latest is personal for Raiola. The stuff before he was right and those things should have been said by someone.
More words now from his brother ... Mathias Pogba "Everyone knows that Paul wants to leave Manchester United, he wants to play Champions League football and win titles. "We all know that won't happen at United. We will see what happens this summer." https://www.goal.com/en-ae/amp/news...ansfer-speculation/1sh9t2nm5bz5l114gz3hfdzllm
Raiola suggests he will reach out to Ole, following the recent exchange between the 2. https://www.skysports.com/football/...le-gunnar-solskjaer-after-paul-pogba-comments This would clearly suggest that he might have realized he went a bit too far with his comments. Or, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Pogba himself might have told him to cool it: he has to go back to finish the season with the club after all. Probaly does not want things to get completely out of hand either (despite his clear desire to leave), which is perfectly understandable also.
Link was forwarded by one of my friend, i didn't verify the origin source. Did you though? https://metro.co.uk/2020/02/18/paul...eave-manchester-united-transfer-12260430/amp/
Never been the biggest Simon Jordan fan, but really appreciated how he went after Raiola there and shut him down to the point that he was left to argue semantics. 🗣 Raiola: “I don’t move players.”😡 Simon: “Of course you do!”🗣 Raiola: “United didn’t buy a human.”😡 Simon: “You should be regulated properly so this sort of nonsense stops.”Must listen from @SJOpinion10 taking on agent @MinoRaiola over his conduct. 🔥 pic.twitter.com/DGG9FmG84y— talkSPORT (@talkSPORT) February 18, 2020
Whether Pogs will leave is really more a matter of when rather than if: that is pretty understood and accepted. However, if the report above is legit, he won't end up in Madrid. This, in conjunction with what we saw last summer from them appears to confirm that Perez is really not high on the guy (and Zidane is the one who wants this deal to happen). Clubs trying to get him will invariably try to lowball United, but I imagine that anything below 9 figures will be swiftly rejected by Woodward and co...
