    CONCACAF strongest leagues for 2009

    As ranked by the IFFHS.....

    Mexico - 15
    USA - 46
    Honduras - 59
    Panama - 64
    Guatemala - 68
    El Salvador - 83
    Costa Rica - 86
    Trinidad & Tobago - 95
    Nicaragua - 98

Note, numbers represent ranking on a global scale. Countries not listed were ranked outside the top 100 leagues and that is why they are not included.

Re: La Liga Mayor - Clausura 2010

Interesting to note that all CONCACAF leagues (Mexico excluded) were ranked as the worst leagues of the Americas. Apart from Bolivia, every other South American leagues is seen as stronger than the majority of the leagues from CONCACAF.

I know what you mean but.....

So in short, what it's saying is Panama League 09>>>El Salvador League 09

It's not looking at results from decades ago or who has the most history, but who did the best in that given year. And all things considered, it's pretty spot on IMO.
