If you were to ask Biello, Tornberg, Burns, whomever you wish to address your question to, what would it be? I'm just curious, if given the opportunity to open communication between the two, what one query would you pose. Please, let's keep this thread on topic and not turn it into a debate as most threads tend to be lately. I'm aiming for constructive criticism here, not jabs.
There doesn't seem to be enough upscale-urban bistros at Patriot Place. What's the status on rectifying this injustice?
Gentlemen, why am I bothering to ask you a question about the state of the Revolution franchise when I know that your response will be yet another in a long line of obfuscations?
Why does everyone on Big Soccer hate you? j/k I find Craig and Brian to be very accessible. When I have a question I just ask them. They both walk around before and after the games and answer emails. Since that is not what this thread is asking, I guess my latest question is "what are you doing to try and keep Jeff Larentowicz on the team?"
Same. I don't have any issues with the frontline personnel, Cathal, Brian, and Tornberg are always really easy to reach and communicate with. I'm leery of TeamOps (Kevin and Jose are awesome 'cause they know us, but it's dicey with the undertrained masses), and I am less than thrilled with Bob Kraft himself-- after seeing how accessible Drew freaking Carey is to Seattle fans, I'd love it if he'd appear with the team more often than cup finals. I would like to ask why the team is given second-class treatment in their own stadium. I'm a positive guy and don't like to complain (it's easier to just do stuff), but going to Seattle for MPS Cup and seeing how Seattle's ownership treated the team, and observing how this rolled downhill to the fans and general public perception, was quite an eye-opener. I arrived in a town decked out for the cup final, with Sounders gear available for purchase everwhere, with Qwest decked out in the team's colors (Windex and Antifreeze), with knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff (they didn't refer to any of the monuments around the stadium as 'Otis Spunkmeyer') and photos of players lining the hallways. Seattle fans told me that a lot of this strength came from the fact that the owners used the entire Seahawks organization to help push the Sounders. I know that this used to be SOP for the Patriots and Revs back in the 20k+ days, but this isn't the case anymore. Maybe it's time to give that approach another try?
Duh, the right question is "Can I have five more questions, please?." OK, to answer in the vein that was intended: "What is your core marketing strategy, who are your partners in this strategy, and how long do you think it will take to come to fruition?" (yeah, I realize that's three questions, see above). If the key partners don't include the existing fan base and supporters groups as partner number 1, I'd follow up with why (and have one more question left).
Will you petition the T for service to Foxboro on Revs home games and promote that in your future marketing?
As a season ticket holder, I spent a fair number of minutes filling out a survey at your request regarding the organization and game-day experience. Are the results available to us and how, if at all, are these results influencing your plans going forward?
But can you believe a thing they say? My question is.."Are you in or out of soccer? If it's in, then why won't you do something to help bring this team back to the top of the league?" Maybe that's two questions but they're related
