I;ve been posting now for 2 weeks I know some of the teams you support.
But If you could have 1 player past or present in your team tomorrow who would it be.

    personally, Marco Van Basten.

To sound very boring I would say Pele or Maradona but George Best also would be a good option. As for today's players I really like Thierry Henry. He can completely control a match. What he did to Liverpool was amazing.

I think i would go with a young, rising star, C. Ronaldo. I have been quite impressed with his play. Obviously he does not have the credentials of some of the all time greats, but i do think he will be quite a star as his career progresses.

I'm going to say Leonidas of Brazil. If you want an active player I'm going with Zidane. Yeah there is Henry, but there are lots of talented finishers out there. No one in the current world football situation can singlehandedly change a game like Zizou.

I would want the young Zidane so he could have the chance to grow with the club and they could have his brilliance for 16-17 years instead of like 4-5 now.

zizou, perfect example of class. he can pass, dribble, shoot (with both feet), defend he has great vision and adds something special to the game that not many players have the capacity to do. he is such a talent. like a magician on the ball...in the past..probably Pele or Johan Cruyff.

Yes forgot about him. He had a really good FA cup final and he's been the best player for Portugal during this tournament to-date.

Give me Roberto Carlos' left foot, Beckham's right foot, Henry's pace, RVN's finishing, Zizou's creativity, and Vieira's toughness and send that man to Chelsea.

The man is a goal machine, scores all types of goals, rises to the occasion, can come back in the midfield and help out, and he's a humble team player.

Give it a rest the british... Perhaps I'm being negative, but the kid has scored a few goals (nice ones) and everyone is blowing their load. Until he gets a few more years under his belt, I'd be tenative to start calling him the 2nd coming of christ, like everyone seems to be doing. Maybe im just jealous...
