Bring in Banners to support Timmy and tell Sir Alex if he truly wants him to play him and get rid of Barthez.

I admit I don't want to see Timmy leave Metro, but if the writings are on the wall then let's support our King of Rutherford and tell Sir Alex if he is seriously interested in Timmy, get rid of Barthez.

He may be the 2nd or 3rd keeper, but this notion that something "just doesn't happen" seems ridiculous to me. If Ferguson thinks he's capable, and the work permits allow it, then it will happen. Whether he played in MLS, France, Poland or wherever is secondary.

i don't think anyone really thinks that if he does sign with United, he will be there to replace barthez and get the starting job.

I think that with that position so wide open he really has a shot to take that spot. Barthez sucks, hes not the same guy he was in 98 and if I had both Howard and him on my team Ill start Howard. If the 98 Barthez was to show up tho Ill prob change my mind but he has sucked for the better part of 2 seasons and I think ManU has lost confidence in him. Ill be surprise if he's even there to contest Howard for the job. Caroll on the other hand is an average keeper an Howard can win the job over him easily. So unless ManU sign another superstar goalkeeper I dont see why Howard cant start.

I like Tim Howard but if he goes to Man U i will be rooting against him hoping he gets sent off vs Liverpool after being unable to control his Tourretes Syndrome involuntarily unleashing a stream of curses and undecipherable grunts/yelps at the ref.

Anyone who uses the words teabag and children in the same sentence has got some serious issues. This is not a forum to exhibit your deep lying pedophile desires-leave that for rec soccer team you coach.

No one really knows what will happen with the goalies situtation at Man U. but one resonable idea would be for them to sign an older experienced keeper ( Oliver Kahn ) and sign Howard as backup possibly give him a few games, eventualy Kahn retires ( 2 years) and Howard becomes number one.

A Leeds supporter getting upset because of me making fun of a possible future Manchester United player. Fairweather gfan, plastic fan, the titles for you are endless. Can't recall the last Leeds fan who showed compassion for Man U(1958 not included) . I support the team not the individuals, Once Tim Howard leaves the Metrostars, why would U root still foot for him. Get a spine and stick to the team you support, you are worse than dominican baseball fans just rooting for their fellow countryman regardless of which team they are on.

I'm pissed off because you're making fun of the fact that Howard has Tourretes Syndrome.

Don't bother getting off your mother long enough to respond to this because I won't be reading your reply.

    So What?

I don't see anything wrong with that; what is wrong with having all these guys in Fenway Park rooting for their fellow Dominican stars; No matter how many Colombians we brought here, they never came to the stadium!

    1. I don't believe Timmy will go anywhere to sit on a bench. This is a guy who has made his affliction irrelevant, and become the top goalkeeper states' side, and a top athlete, period.

    2. What is a 'teabag' when used as a verb?

More explicitly, tea bagging now canotes the placing of one's genitals into the mouth of a participant, much like placing a bag of tea into a cup.

    Next week's word, bukkake......

Isn't it bad enough that ManUre are taking a dump on MLS by ignoring our sides with their dreams of global domination tour? Now some of you not only support, but want to encourage their stealing our keeper???

    This is a disgusting thread.

Doctor. I'm not encourgaging it. But I am looking at the inevitable. If Timmy is going to Man U then I wish him the best. Also He will be carrying the US Soccer Flag to England just as Friedel & Keller are doing.

Also if Timmy goes, he is starting period. Barthez will be gone and Timmy will not play backup or 3rd String.

Man U is tired of Barthez wandering off his line and playing to dangerous outside the box.

Perhaps Timmy will be able to dodge the boots flying in the Old Trafford locker room.

    Tim Howard starting lmao
    what are you people smoking??????

there will be a new keeper at ManU and no its not Howard.......

please dont compare barthez to howard b/c despite barthez's flops(i cant stand him myself)--he is still a few notches better than howard.....

    barthez(national and uefa experience)
    howard(mls aka clown league)

and the guy that wrote ManU isnt playing any MLS teams---thats a great thing.........

Why should ManU play an MLS team......
there is barely any coverage of european soccer on tv and the us media has no respect for it......
You expect manu to say yea were gonna play the metros ----no thanx

BTW i got tix for manchester---juventus
and the metrostars can sit and watch cuz they are not
    THAT DAMN GOOD
