Then something is wrong. You're twice as good as Man U.

With several months to go anything can still happen. Especially after last year, I'm not even considering celebrating anything until the Gunners are actually presented the trophy.
ManYoo are not to be underestimated as today proved. You would think after blowing a 3 nil lead they would've been deflated but instead they manage to get the winner. I just think it's going to be a nail-biter all the way to the finish.

If Wolves carry on playing as well as that at home, particularly first half, not many teams will picking up points at Molineaux! Every set piece had me worried. Thought your new guy Ganea (is it?) looked useful, although not so sure about Carl Cort?

Today was some of the best football Wolves have played and I thought me might sneak a win or at least gotten a draw but it only takes half of a mistake and we're 3-1 down.

Hopefully you'll take the league cause Man U fans don't deserve it. They're absolutly *#*#*#*#.

emily was in france and she went to some bar where the waiter was a brit. well, naturally, because she is my girlfriend, she asked him what team he supported. when he said manu she cringed and he asked why. she said she supported arsenal and he had the nerve to say "arsenal, that's a loser's team. they buy their winnings" or something along those lines. and she immediately came back with "no that's chelsea." at which they both had a laugh at the expense of the poseurs. not really interesting, just one of my prouder moments of my girlfriend

Wolves did very well, I'd say. Truly, Arsenal sucked eggs for the first half, with more weak and broken passes than I care to name, but credit the Wanderers for being able to break up the plays and knowing what to do with the ball. They were very, very good.

The second half, well...beyond Irwin's brilliant and unlucky free kick, there wasn't much of a threat. Arsenal settled into their passing game, and you were pretty much done for. 86% possession, I think it was at one point.

I'm hoping to see Wolves creep up to 15th or so in the table. It's highly possible if you keep playing like you have the past month.

i'd really like Wolves to stay up. your players and fans are respectful in that you play clean and try to attack not just 11 behind the ball or dirty off the ball stuff. with the effort they put in today they very well could stay up. the players played with much heart. i am looking forward to watching you lot play man u again.

Wolves rock (especially when they take out ManU)! They are the only other team in the Prem. that I support. I just got one of the 60's Wolves throwbacks from Toffs--what a great shirt. Just wondering--have they started playing The Eliminator (is that the name of that song?) at Molineaux again?

I wouldn't mind Wolves staying up, the ground was easy to get to, the facilities pretty good for away fans and the Wolves supporters were friendly. They get behind their team well too.

I just have the feeling that that little bit of quality up front is missing. I don't think they'll score enough goals. I hope I'm wrong though. I'd like to see Liecester(horrible, ugly side who only cleared their massive debts by going into administration and then being able to buy players when they came out), Boro(the most boring side in the division and with delusions of granduer to go with it) and Blackburn(Souness, need I say more?) go down.

I hear the pitch is horrendous and sloped, so the Arsenal would prefer to play head tennis rather than Wengerball there. Any truth to this?

The pitch looked perfectly level to me, just a bit soft. You thinking of Barnet?

And I did think of a small thing I didn't enjoy at Molineux yesterday. When Arsenal scored, they didn't announce the scorer, or show our goals on the big screen. Yet they showed all Wolves shots on replay, even if it went 20 yards wide. I just though that was a bit petty.

Arsenal. Gooner till I die. I discovered where my loyalties were when Arsenal couldn't overcome Ajax in last season's CL. Until that day my preferences in international football were in the order that I put them in my info. I heard about the Italian job while waiting for a flight that was delayed for 4 hours. I was a happy man that day, and a lot of travellers who couln't tell the difference between football and shuffleboard learned all about Arsenal that evening.

The Football League regulates the slope of the pitch for Nationwide, so it can't be too sloped. I imagine, too, that the Premier League has even more strict requirements, though probably with the standard "three years to comply" clause in effect.

And Barnet definitely has the worst slope I've ever seen in person. One of the many reasons why they are nestled in Conference rather than Division Two.

Well, my affections have been affirmed, but my love of Arsenal is no affectation :D
Going back to the the topic, can ManU take the league from Arsenal playing with such a horrendous defense?

Arsenal has allowed the least amount of goals in the Prem, 16. ManUre's let in 20. I don't think the defense is horrendous, its all bad timing. We let goals in when we are one up away and trying to hang on.

Let me rephrase that. ManU's defense has been horrendous as of late. Wolves gave them real problems and Everton took them to task. Can they win while playing so badly?

The loss of Rio is crushing, but Wes Brown is just coming off of injury. If he regains the form he had before his injury, then ManU's defense will stabilize. I'm still shocked that Ferg didn't buy or even loan (VanBuyten, hello?) a center-back. That could definitely come back to haunt them, especially in the CL. Although ManU is only 2 points back, they don't scare teams like they used to. The other teams in the Prem go right at them, instead of playing men behind the ball like they do against Arsenal. They've lost the services of 2 of their most valuable players this year (Beckham, Rio) and their new boys have failed to make an impact so far. In fact they look quite a ways off from delivering on a consistant basis. If anything were to happen to Scholes or Ruud, their season would be shot to hell. The title should definitely be coming back to Highbury, and if it doesn't the season would be an utter failure.

gotcha. My "friend" who supports ManUre cited the loss of Rio for the misfortunes in the back. Brown needs to step up, and if he doesn't and RvN or Saha go cold then ManUre is not going to be too happy.

Ah Wes Brown...the most unfortunate man in the Premiership. He plays for ManU and he's got ligaments made from wet tissue paper. Poor guy.
