I know this is tough, but I want to see who the majority of us feel should be representing us in Germany. I know some are automatic selections, but there will be some tough cuts. Here is who I would hope to see, if it was tomorrow.

    golero:
    Cristian Mora
    Edwin Villafuerte

    defensa:
    Ivan Hurtado
    Geovanny Espinosa
    Ulises delaCruz
    Paul Ambrossi
    Neicer Reasco
    Jorge Guagua
    Jose Valencia
    Renan Calle

    volante:
    Marlon Ayovi
    Edwin Tenorio
    Luis Antonio Valencia
    Edison Mendez
    Cristian Lara
    Luis Fernando Saritama
    Patricio Urrutia
    Lucho Caicedo

    delantero:
    Agustin Delgado
    Jaime Ivan Kaviedes
    Franklin Salas
    Roberto Mina
    Felix Borja

I am sure we all know who the automatic guys are, granted, there are no ijnuries! i want to know who you guys would bring! :D

I have had lots of trouble following Ecuador (especially the league) since I left, but whats happened to Salas? When I was there he was doing awesome for LDU and then he kinda exploded on la selecion as a sub. People expected him to be a big player (I think), so what happened? Better players? hasnt played so well?

i think for now, thats the lineup i would start in the opener to like u say WHOEVER (dont matter it be Germany, France, Brazil). With that squad, we challenge any team.

sorry, I like this squad, but after we seen Mora making fine stops last game, and hearing he was equally impressive against Bolivia and Italia, there is no doubt in my mind that Mora is the man between the sticks. Villafurete is great alternative, should something happen to Mora, but Mora is our new 1!!

I want to justify my some of my selections.
It might be too early to say, cause I heard Cortez is a up and coming player, and he might make the WC squad if he impresses Suarez against Chile and the following friendlies.

Someone else made a point about Soledispa. I cannot see games here, it is unfortunate, but someone tell me how he is doing in the league matches?

how can we save Carlos Tenorio from his captors in Qatar, and Ivan Hurtado while we are at it?? If Carlos joins another league, he has to come to Germany, that guy is so explosive!! BOOM!!

I would personally go over to Qatar and save our compadres if I could! Especially Hurtado, we need them out of Qatar quickly and back to Ecuador or more competetive league!!

Mora reminds me ALOT of Giovanni Ibarra, he makes those incredible stops (very acrobatic), but then they would score the dumbest goal to him.
I've seen him be at goal for LDU, and he has hasd alot of awful performances.

well, it was a stupid goal he and Guagua allowed against Venezuela in the friendly game. Let's hope that there will be better communication in the future to avoid these blunders that better teams would make us pay for.

despite this, I have to agree with the majority, I never seen a more exciting keeper for Ecuador since ever!

This is who I would bring!
    golero:
    Cristian Mora (titular)
    Edwin Villafuerte

    defensa:
    Ivan Hurtado (capitan)
    Geovanny Espinosa
    Ulises delaCruz
    Paul Ambrossi
    Neicer Reasco
    Jorge Guagua
Jose Cortez (young and doing well in the league, will get his chance vs Chile)
    Renan Calle (free kick specialist)

    volante:
    Marlon Ayovi
    Edwin Tenorio
    Luis Antonio Valencia
    Edison Mendez
    Cristian Lara
    Luis Fernando Saritama
Leonardo Soledispa (have to agree, he is good enough to replace Tenorio or Ayovi)
David Quiroz (one of our future stars, violent strike from distance)

This is where Suarez will have problems. Who will be inform by the WC might make the difference. Tin is virtually automatic titular, but the likes of Kaviedes and Salas, although talented, will depend on if they are match fit. Mina and Borja are currently inform, but should they slip up, there will be others to fight for their place, such as la Matralla Darwin Caicedo, Carlos Tenorio, Gustavo Figueroa (good talent everyone forgot about) and possibly even more.

    delantero:
    Agustin Delgado
    Jaime Ivan Kaviedes
    Franklin Salas
    Roberto Mina
    Felix Borja
