I’m in the same boat as you, my daughters would be adults when I’m in my 40s and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ll still be young enough to smack their boyfriends around:D

I can’t imagine having kids for at least another 5 years. I have friends who already had kids, married and divorced. I don’t really like children to
be honest and I know that once I have kids all my time will be devoted to them. I’m in no rush to get married and have children. I can’t take care of myself, let alone kids. :ROFLMAO:

Why is he getting rotated so much as if he's in his 30s? Resting one of our best players for hasbeens given our awful league record for last 10 years is weird. We need consistency and Fede gives our midfield stability. Don't see CMs getting rotated much by top teams.

Any theories as to what happened to this guy since the end of January? He still covers a lot of ground but feels like he doesn’t make as many big interceptions, and his attacking output has dropped off even more. In short, Fede has become way less consequential off late and I can’t figure out why.

Good game today. He was effectively right wing with Carvajal when we were attacking, covered loss of ground and a few dangerous crosses.

He had to track Alba and Barca’s left midfielder when defending so Alba was free a few times, but he always put in the work to try and get back. Good lad is Valverde.

This was his best game in a month.

He can't play on the left though. It was no coincidence that he played better in the second half against City and now Barca. All were done on the right side.

The biggest silver lining of this season has been the emergence of this kid, a potential world-class midfielder with a top-notch attitude and work rate right when our midfield needed it most

I love this guy, easialy my favourite player this season.Im shocked at how fast we found a replacemnt for Modric ,Fede just came into the team and took over the midfield AMAZING.

Props to Zidane,he believed in him and gave him a chance to be a part of the team .
Still dont get why he is on the bench against physical teams like Getafe /Betis etc ,these are the games where he is needed the most:cool:

I personally don’t think he’s been that good since the restart actually, certainly nothing like the level he was at before the shutdown, but we already know he’s got the quality, just needs the consistency now

I agree, but i think that's mostly due to him being forced to play as RM/RW. Whenever he's in his position he plays much better.

I guess I'm in the minority because I think he has had lulls in matches but has been pretty good.

We really can't expect these guys to play perfectly or even keep the high level with all this matches in a short period of time.
