I hope he says he will do what he says he will do and "kill the terrorist wherever they are". That's all I ask and if he does it then I will support him 100%. I'll even defend him against Bill Archer if he does it.

Say goodbye to another Clinton presidency.

CUS, Bill can't run again. It's not like, for example, the governor here, where you're term limited out after two terms, but you can run again later.

Are you being coy or just brain dead this morning? He means the Clinton that kept their trouser snake under control for eight years.

As for the question at hand, if Lerch pulls off the upset, then the GOP will still control both houses of Congress, meaning taxes won't get raised, no matter what class-warfare promises Ketchup-Boy made. Gay marriage still won't be legally recognized, the FCC will still fine Howard Stern clones, we'll still have forces in Iraq doing the job that our current President has envisioned, and our so-called "allies" in Europe will still resent us like they always have in spite of the fact that it's because of our sacrifce that they're not all Soviet satellites right now.

For me the worst part of Kerry victory isn't what would happen during his (one) term, it would be the reaction and joy of the anyone but Bush crowd. Hippies, Limo Liberals, Hollywood (an industry in which I work), Europeans, Jew-hating Muslims, and other assorted retards (like Dave) would think they've won some sort of real victory, when all they'd really be getting is a "meet the new boss, same as the old boss" type change. At least in reality, not in rhetoric.

I just keep reminding myself that if Jimmy Carter couldn't bring about the end of the world in his 4 years, despite his best efforts, then John Kerry surely can't either.

But he likely would appoint several Supreme Court justices, which is one reason to vote for Bush.

And despite the hysterical screeching of the liberals, Iraq is a quagmire an order of magnitude less bothersome than Vietnam.

The real bothersome (and lasting) part of the Iraq extravaganza is that there are still people in positions of great influence who think that we are such a superpower that we can waltz in anywhere and impose our will. This attitude could result in even more adventures. One thing is for sure about Kerry, his people will believe that we are such an evil empire that we can't do anything.

I still can't resolve which one is worse, but if Kerry is elected, brace yourself for his people going around apologizing to the likes of the French. They'll even get around to apologizing to bin Laden. Carter had an abominable ambassador to the UN who spent his time doing just that sort of thing.

If Kerry wins, he'll be the President. We should give him our full support where necessary and engage in construtive dissent when needed.

    The same applies for Bush.

But I reserve the right to make comments about Kerry looking like an animal. Hopefully I can liken him to a dictator, too.

and to think that pathogen was a good republican and now has turned into a communist pinko hell bent on turning the United States into the former Soviet Union (minus the arms and yakoff smirnoff).

see I guess it goes like this: DC United has the backing of republican money. the columbus crew apparently are run by communist china and that is why DC is still playing and the crew are back planning a war on taiwan.

    bitch.

For a guy that's spent a lot of time hanging out with me, you don't really know my at all. Maybe I don't have much of a sense of humor right now after the results of this election. I'm highly disappointed that the American people went to the polls and voted to put Bush back in office. Enjoy the America you get over the next four years. He will operate with a mandate never before seen in this country. Then again you're a straight, white Republican male; so you probably don't have much to fear.

You can thank no one but Bush for my vote.

I feel some of what you're saying. (wow that was clintonesque) There are many things that I disagree with Bush on.

For me, Kerry was just a horrible alternative. I thought Chris Matthews said it best this morning on NBC around 6:30 when he talked about how the Dems need to look to the south for their next candidate. Kerry did not play well wherever people speak with a drawl.....He was not PC in his comments, but was right. What did Edwards bring to the ticket? He didn't bring anything in the south at all.

I'm in Atlanta this week, and the local coverage was interesting. They were talking about the difference between Southern Democrats and Southern Republicans. And they were saying how they're both conservative. From the way they spoke, if you took Guiliani or Schwarzenegger and ran them in a southern governor or mayoral race, they would likely be a democrat.

That's why I think it would be suicide for them to run Billary in 2008. She doesn't match up with the south...and if you can't swing people with a drawl, you're not going to win.

No doubt. The Dems are going to have to figure out how to win in the South again. Frankly, I just wish either party would put up a candidate that is indeed a "Uniter". Kerry was a sorry candidate. But that might say more about how awful Bush is. The Dems seriously thought they could be him with anybody. That's obviously not the case.

The majority of people have spoken. They want Bush as our President. I will support that decision no matter how much I don't like it.
