Glad to know I'm not the only one. I don't mind animate ads at the top of the page. (Except that one that had the cockroaches on it because it ooged me out.) But the adds that reach down into the page and cover what I'm reading/writing have got to go.
And fyi... I just closed out my browser, and ran Adware-se. Still getting the ads crawling down my screen.
Yup. This is what it is. Sometimes it seems more like the banner ad suddenly expands downward rather than popping up... but if you're scrolled down a bit, it acts like a pop-up. And it's not on my computer, it's on this site - it hasn't happened anywhere else.
No. It's the banner ads have now become even more annoying and obnoxious with the pulldown form More to the point, it busts through everything, so even if I close minimize the window, it stays through my excel program. and that's not good when I'm at work
On my computer, they are popping up every 15 seconds. This needs to be rectified. Now it is worse. When I close one, another instantly appears. I am out of here.
It's totally out of control. Even crashed IE a few times for me. I'm outta here for a while. Hopefully they'll be gone or I'm not sure I'll return (at least as active on the boards).
It is those banner ads that are out of control right now. I am getting them all the time on my IE 6.0 Browser. Don't have the problem on Firefox, or Netscape or Opera. Appreciate this getting fixed. On every page I open this ad bursts through. Thank you.
yes. this is very annoying. Not only that, i tried to rep someone, and it crashed on me. twice. Please remove these ads. i didnt complain with the flashing banner or those dubious "you are the millionth visitor" ads, but i do have to complain with continuous pop-ups.
I agree that this is clearly a bigsoccer problem and not a adware problem on my PC. This is the only site that does it and the banner ad is always the same exact ad that is in the pop up. I thought premiums don't have to deal with these ads?

What's the phrase I'm looking for revs fan? I have posted about this in another thread and the ads were pulled. The ads that "pulled down" are not the same as waht this thread was started about which was 'pop ups' the pull downs have been pulled because well they sucked!

I get the same survey message a few times when clicking on certain threads/forums. It only comes up on this site and I ran my adaware program and got nothing. It comes up a few times each visit, I will try to save the link to it next time.
