    Thanks.

I have a mac, and it's never happened before, but I'll check into it... I figured it was this site because it's the only place it's happening...

No pop-ups here, but then I use Firefox. ;)

Even so, I don't even get the "blocked pop-up" message bar.

Got it too and I'm using Safari with the popup blocking on. Has only happened on this site so I know it's not spyware, besides I'm on a Mac and we don't get that crap.

Adware and spyware systems are tricky... it is possible that you have a program that has been loaded deep within' your system's hard drive. Try to get a hold of adware-se... the program's an eye opener to how much crap gets attached to your system. Then delete the spyware files. If you're still getting the pop-up crap (and I implore you not to click into them), then you may want to seriously think about re-imaging your PC.

You really do have to be careful about what sites you go to on the internet. Not just from a 'oh $hit I might get busted' at work standpoint, but because there are programs out there that will run off of 'innocent' sites and contaminate your pc and hard-drive. Clicking into pop-ups or sites that you are un-sure of can load all kinds of crap into your system which can be a real pain to remove because unfortunately, the wankers are getting smarter... what may be on your system isn't from bigsoccer but the program within adware, etc. may be triggered somehow by bigsoccer, which would be the 'innocent' site.

Hmm, both of us said we have Macs. Ergo, no adware or spyware.

I'm an ad-free BS supporter using firefox. No mention of any survey.

What Alex said. Get ad-aware and possibly spbotS&D as well. Update and run both of those and see what happens.

Hmm no spybot or adaware for Macs, now why would that be? To reiterate one more time. Macs. Do. Not. Get. Spyware. Or. Adware. Programs. Installed. On. Our. Computers!

.... so let me repeat this...

"Adware and spyware systems are tricky... it is possible that you have a program that has been loaded deep within' your system's hard drive. "

As long as you have a connection to the internet, there will be the possibility that your system could be open to a sophisticated system or 'hacked'. It's nothing personal against you being a "Mac" user and I understand the differences with the Mac systems but it is the reality that these programs and files are very quickly getting "Smarter" and it's not out of the question that those systems will be subject to this. There really are people out there that relish in the challenge of trying to find ways to break into any system.

Also remember - some sites are 'innocent hosts' to pop-ups.

Yes, the site can be an innocent post to the pop-up ads and that's probably what it was, but it's not spyware.

The new banner ads at the top are broken. They ARE popping up. It appears they're supposed to do it on mouseovers only, but apparently whoever programed it did it wrong, because they pop up often and randomly. Really annoying.

Honestly, whats wrong with regular banner adds? Its like every week BS has a new "most annoying add". Last week it was the annoying fly that wouldnt stop spamming its fly noise every second, now these.

I'm getting constant popups. Thought that was part of what I paid to stop, but maybe I remember incorrectly?
