Honestly.....I was a big backer of Donovan staying here and I even felt he owed USA/MLS soccer this. Not because we've done anything for him but because he seems to be the one guy that non-soccer america has semi-embraced. He could be the Babe Ruth of Soccer if he so chooses and I hope he does. He makes a fair amount of money so it's not like hes suffering(MLS/Nike/Gatorade). As much as I bitch, i'd probably keep him right here in SJ.
Truth be told...as much as it pains me to say this....I believe that even if Landon wasn't staying, Wade would still be gone. He really wanted a new experience.....and he was ready fo it at this time in his life. So he went for it. Good for him, but we are going to miss him terribly.
