I think Modric could still hack it at a mid-lower team in France or Germany if he really wants to stay in Europe.
I honestly wouldn't know what to do if Messi, Suarez and Busquets played for a team I liked. I can't even bring myself to play with them in video games.
Im nowhere near as passionate for Inter Miami as I am Real Madrid. I’ve always found it difficult to root for 2 teams in the same sport, even from different countries. It’s impossible for me to be similarly passionate for 2. Madrid is my top team above all others across all sports. But these players don’t bother me anymore and it’s easy to root for them in this context. They’re no longer Barca players. What they do now has zero effect on Real Madrid. So I can watch them in a lower level league and help grow the sport in my home country.
add in Alba. I mean, that group is the Voltron of unlikeable assholes. No chance in hell I could ever wish them good fortune.
This is unacceptable. I demand Ronaldo, Modric and all other former Real Madrid players join another MLS team to counter the blasphemy that is Inter Miami.
I think CR7s plan originally was MLS, but his legal troubles here prevented it (that’s my hunch) Now that is cleared up, I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes at some point.
Ronaldo's contract is up in a month and I think he would've renewed by now if he was staying. No way he doesn't want to play this Club WC,especially since Messi will also be playing . And he surely wants to play next WC so I'm expecting him to push for 1 more season and retire after WC. Or to play until football completely leaves him.
Ronaldo will leave the pitch in a wheelchair. The way he obsesses over his body he wants to play until he’s 50. as long as he’s relevant he will play.
I had uploaded a post pertaining to Luka with various stats including tweets. For some reason, bigsoccer prevents me from posting or replying to posts that contain a twitter link. But it has a habit of saving old post attachments. So I quoted, and the residual attachment was still present.
Lol. That makes sense. Here’s an older article about how he was offered ownership stake in Sporting KC; and they mention the legal issues in Vegas. https://www.sportbible.com/football...ting-kansas-city-mls-al-nassr-361974-20240712 I do think that he would come to the MLS but likely in LA or NYC.
I think it's not a reputable source, but gross speculation from an online rag. There's never been any evidence that Ronaldo has any travel restriction, or threat from law enforcement pending - ever.
Ronaldo originally had allegations of a rape charge in 2009, the case was reopened in 2022 when the woman pressed formal charges. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-payment-in-cristiano-ronaldo-allegation-case
it was, but the charges in 2022 made it uncertain when he was deciding what to do in 2023, as the case hadn’t been dismissed yet. now he’s in the clear, the mls is a much more viable option. I think he wants to play with his son and LA FC or the galaxy would be interesting options.
