seeing that chicago just delt novak to the revs and just for arguments sake(since im bored),would you give up our first rounder and a solid player for armas?

i think a healthy armas on metro would be sick, he'll create room for williams (or vaca) and that means mathis and moreno can do their damage up top, then again he could not be the same player he was before the injury

I would rather see Bradley develop Jeff Moore into a good defensive midfielder.

You mean Kevin Armas, the guy that works at the McDonald's on Rt. 46?

No, Metros will be fine with the lineup that they have or if the whole Vaca for Williams thing works out. Metrostars fans are tired of "giving up some talent" as you put it, and not having the results ever work out in our favor.

I don't see any reason to acquire Armas if Richie Williams is on the roster. RW makes considerably less money, and Armas could lose a step after recovering from knee surgery.

I'm not certain that Jeff Moore is the future at DMid either. He's a tenacious player on the defensive end of the field, but I didn't think he showed any offensive skills at all.

If the Metros can't take Alecko in the draft, maybe they draft Ricardo Clark to be the DMid of the future. I understand that many observers believe he's ready to play in MLS immediately.

What possible talent do we have to offer?

I agree with all of this. Clark is supposed to have a tremendous upside -- much greater than Moore's. However, I am not sure if he has declared for the draft. If he has, I think that would be a solid pick.

Confued Vaca for Williams do they play the same position?

"Armas if Richie Williams is available"

You think there is no difference? Well maybe now because we are not sure he can come back for his injury.

But Armas has a better chance since we don't expect the same skills as we expected from Mathis.
