fully agree to you is Puma Carranza an idolo? or is he helped by the fact he was never good enough like say Chemo to leave Peru?
Puma is an idolo, definitely. He wasn't good enough to go abroad but he was good enough to be called up to the NT on a semi-regular basis AND he usually delivered while there. Plus, he was good enough to be a starter on the biggest team in Peru for well over a decade. But players that are a rarity. You're either good enough to leave or you suck and play on and off.
yeah but how is that different from say Pepe Soto who was also a regular for the NT(in his best days) and Alianza Lima and delivered as much as Puma for both Waldir also has to be considered i mean he is Alianza all time scorer that has to count for something Arakaki is a massive massive stretch since he isnt even a semi regular for the NT
To me Jayo is more of an idolo than Wally. I just hate Wally with a passion. If it wasn't for his shit perfomances with the NT, he could have become a real idolo.
Well Soto started at Muni and then jumped ship to Cristal as soon they waved some cash in front of him. Plus he was in Mexico for like 4-5 years! They're actually very different. I agree that Jayo should be more of an idolo. And yes, Puma's style of play also helped. Absolutely everyone loves a guy that busts his ass and sacrifices his body for the team. And if he can intimidate opponents in the process, all the better.
hahahahahahahaha this thread is a joke. Alianza having all those great stars being compared to las bestias de Wally, Pepe Soto, and Jayo.
you mad? this thread is obviously a joke how the fck can an alianzista with knowledge compare sotil, cueto, and cubillas to jayo, pepe soto, and wally?
Tremendo PLOPSAZO.
